I originally opened a damart account to buy clothes for my late mother in law. I rang today to cancel the mailings, which was so easy, it could not have been easier. What I had not realised was that Damart are so very supportive, there's info in the online customer support or on the phone, for a variety of issues. Absolutely fantastic.
I ordered boots and have just received them. The boots are lovely but the customer service was terrible because according to them I had given them the wrong email address. I have had numerous orders with no problems and always had a confirmation email with a tracking no so someone must have put it in wrong. The customer service was no help so didn’t know when they would come. Not a happy customer.
Absolute total waste of time with this company. Ordered a blanket they sent the wrong colour, they then sent it again, and again the wrong colour was sent. The refund came in way of a cheque, who uses cheques for refunds? Now have to go to pay cheque in, my bank only opens 4 days a week. This whole thing was around 5/6 weeks from first order. Will never order from here again.
Scammers, they charge a huge cost to ring customer service line. The elderly fall for this and end up being completely ripped off. Avoid Damart at all costs and ensure you let folk know of the high cost of calling them. Giving them 1 star to be able to post review only. They deserve none.
Been ordering for a while with this company. Happy with everything I've ordered. The free gifts are brill. The latest received was a waterproof jacket. Wore it today as was a bit chilly, glad I did as it absolutely poured down on way home. Hood stayed up in wind and I was lovely and toasty and dry.
I purchased a pack of knickers which stated a size 10/12 .The sizing is incorrect they are actually a size 6/8 learning more to a 6 than an 8 ***Beware Damart charge for returns . It's now going to cost me around £4 to return the items (half the cost of the purchase) and it states around 20 days for a replacement to be dispatched. Needless to say I won't be ordering from Damart again or recommending
Placed a order and after two months there was no word. I contacted damart and they stated they have issue with stock and they will send it when they have it. Instead they had cancelled it the order few weeks stating payment issue when they already took the money especially as it was paid via paypal. Avoid this cowboy company.
Bought a pair of Thermolactyl Slipper Boots, Easy ordering, quick delivery. I normally wear a size 5 but after reading reviews on smaller then expected sizing I ordered a 6. On arrival slipper are too small on the foot, while very loose around the ankle, making them uncomfortable to wear. I compared them to a size 5 shoe, and a slipper and it is clear they are not a size 6, they feel more like a 4. Very disappointment as i had bought some similar a few years ago and loved them. Very annoying that if I want to return them I have to pay postage.
Placed an on line order 5/11/22 and changed my address at the same time. Order acknowledgement came through showing my old address for delivery. I emailed at first opportunity, 7.13am yesterday, to point out address was incorrect, but still waiting for reply. Brilliant, just received an email to show they now have correct address. Here's hoping I get delivery and not occupants of my old house.
Very poor. Don't buy from this company unless you are happy to be spammed. I have asked THREE TIMES to stop sending me marketing material and each time my request has been acknowledged. One for the ICO?
