   A very disappointing meal they call a doner... The pictures speak volumes... Poorly cut, as "meat" is extremely thin; never seen anything like this called doner in my life, not even in Turkey. The flavour was bland and to top it all off the ordering process is not easy as anyone paying with card is forced to use the self service machine. Plenty of seats and more available upstairs if anyone wants to eat here. Parking is not possible in front of the shop but you can park in the shopping centre for a fee. Overall, not recommended as better options available nearby with better meat cuts and portions.

   Food is so great I love Bollywood I love India tribe they don’t speak it out loud but they don’t like us. It’s weird sometimes they over talk when I’m just asking a question. These bad reviews probably not the actual business fault. Happy with the food I had would have spent way more money if we could have a proper English conversation like we do in California!

   Ordered a rice bowl and they put a tiny squirt of garlic sauce, i told them my rice is completely dry I can’t eat without sauce. She said I could have more ketchup but no chilli or garlic sauce. She would charge for chilli sauce. Imagine if Nando’s asked for more money every time you added sauce to your chicken or rice. Please don’t order the rice bowl it’s not worth the £8 the gym box comes with three sauces and is cheaper and healthier. I swallowed my rice with water. Staff are not bothered at all. She said no then went back to drinking her red bull.

   We used to like this GDK branch as we order here all the time. However, the order we had today were not as good as before. The gym boxes were mostly chips and salad, the meat was way less compared to how it used to be. Barely any meat, probably only 20% of the box. Very disappointed.

   Use to be a good place, now days they are trying day by day giving less food, I had today at midday a done kebab, and the slice of the beef was as thin as the paper , you can't imagine, I was surprised to see how thin that was, I didn't have with me a pen cos I wanted to write on it.    I was walking on the street when i saw the name and because of this i decided to try them.I have eaten doner kebab many times and from many places in Germany and i can confidently say, this shop has nothing to do with the "German Kebab Phenomenon".I don't want to be mean or misunderstood. The food is not bad, but it's not what I expected it to be. Let's move on to the good parts. The store looks very good and very clean. You can see the chefs,while you wait, how they prepare your food. This and the cleanliness of the kitchen gives you a special comfort when you order from them.The prices are acceptable. The portions are reasonable. The staff is polite and friendly. I liked that everything at them is branded. The bag, the box in which they put the kebab, the napkins... and everything looks very good. It gives you the impression that you are eating something premium, not a simple kebab.

   Went to the Ilford one I asked for the mixed Doner burger they got my order wrong and ended up with a kebab. Meat was cold alot of salad because it wasn't what I ordered I wasn't asked if I wanted sauce. They put Chilli sauce on one side of the pita and Garlic sauce on the other side. Wasn't very nice and it cost £10 for the meal. Went to use the toilets afterwards ended up walking out without using them toilet seat was broken and alot of tissues and mess on the floor. Was cleat hadn't been checked after customer used.

   The first time I tried German doner kebab was in Dubai and didn't really like it so had to try again -Ilford branch- and I absolutely loved their food with all signature sauces. I feel it's a decent size portion for a small person and worth a try

   Food is really decent and by far the best Doner kebab I've had. Great shame that the staff in there are far from polite and hospitable. Especially when they are busy. I'd recommend deciding what you want before visiting the shop as majority of the staff are are quite impatient. Apart from that their food is well cooked, deliciously tasting and decently priced.

   Always great food & quick service. They offer click & collect, you can choose the time to collect your food. The spring rolls were not the best this time but are normally amazing! One of the best kebab shops.
