Yesterday I was refused entry to the store for not wearing a mask because I’m exempt, instead I was asked to wait outside in a designated zone. THIS IS DISCRIMINATION ON EVERY LEVEL and goes against The Equality Act 2010 when a trader or service provider gives you a service on worse terms - in my case because I have a condition or DISABILITY that prevents me from wearing a mask. So MACHINE MART HAVE GONE AGAINST THE LAW AND ARE TREATING THEIR CUSTOMERS DIFFERENTLY BASED ON THEIR HEALTH. The cover manager - Jason should be sacked for supporting this and the manager of this store too. This will be investigated and a report will be made. If you have any concerns like I do, contact customer services as the manager of this store isn’t interested and clearly supports discrimination against people with disabilities. I would advise they change their little safety signs to accept all customers masking up or not.
Visited the store to purchase a new vacuum and they don’t stock half of the stuff that is on the website... absolute waist of time having stores if you can’t go to them to get what you need.
I find Machine Mart handy for professional grade tools at a very competitive price. Helpful service too. However the parking at this shop is practically non existent because the housing estate behind has lots of double yellow lines and permit parking.Hence 4 stars.
Very bad experience. Loot of mess when you purchase online, collect in store, and item is faulty. It work like branches and online website are two separate companies. It didn't work like Argos, Currys, Screwfix or any other. Item must be sent back by shop to veryfy fault and need to wait for money back. WTF? Avoid if you can.
