Over charged by Tesco yet again. Schweppes 12 pack tonic with lemon . Advertised at 4.50 . Charged 6.50 . Not worth the 45 minute round trip to sort out . Getting sick of Tesco stores and how awful their pricing routines have become .
OK store with a massive car park yet relatively poor quality bicycle racks (at least they are pressent) that could be signposted better. The biggest obsticle is how car centric this location is, it is nestled between a high speed road and two busy roundabout and not very walkable from the west side due to the surrounding roads and the massive car park which people are usually acting like fools on
Typical Tesco experience, never had any issues with the staff in last 5 years. Plenty of parking and well-stocked most of the times.
I think this place is good to get groceries but I do agree with the others that the manger and the staffs are quite rude and when you call them to help you find something that you want they just say 'yeah sure coming in a second' but then there to busy chatting with someone else.I'm not trying to be rude to anyone or Tesco because I know that all the shop tried to be good and they tried to make their shop good so people come to their shop. If you have a problem with going there, please just buy something quick and go to self service/self pay.
Yesterday I had a terrible day with the chemist where I go and my GP's. After a couple of journeys to Tesco's pharmacy. My issue was sorted by them. I am really grateful to them both the lady on the counter & the pharmacist. They really calmed the situation for me I cannot thank them enough.
Great place for weekly shopping with all sorts of seasonal items available. Selection of items are better than most other super markets
Worst Ever? This is by far the worst shop I have ever been in my life. Been going there every time that I'm in Oldham and every time these happens: Staffs have no idea how to help because they have not been trained, staffs are always talking to each other, All the self-checkout tills are not working and way too slow and every time you proceed to pay they stop working, shelves are always half full or empty specially in vegetables, meats and drinks zones, floor never gets to be cleaned, the store smells unpleasant, people smoking right in front of the shop's main entrance, and so many more.. I wonder why managers in charge of this Tesco or other higher ranked managers never check on this location! It's just fascinating how abandoned this place is compare to other Tesco shops across the country in terms of their own company standards.
