   I do like Matalan but the sizes are all wrong. Even kids sizes. They're always 2 sizes smaller than what they say. I love it that they sell pyjamas to raise money for Alder Hey. Such a lovely, kind, generous thing to do and then they use/buy/have made pyjamas that run and run and run. Wash after wash after wash I use colour run sheets and every single time the colour run sheet comes out nearly the same colour as part of the dyed pyjamas. You do such a kind thing and then ruin it.

   Good quality clothing, reasonable prices, I went to use the self scan checkout but the voucher I had had to go through a main checkout I'd already waited 10 mins until someone had come to help and told me this and the queue was long with only 1 person on the till, however the lady that had come to help opened up a checkout to put me through.

   The scent they installed to entice you into the home section is incredible. However, it's not available to buy as it was installed by an outside company. Definitely missed a trick there Matalan! Candles, reed diffusers, oooow delightful, or it would have been....

   Good for kids clothes, not so good for adults. They dont have bags for your purchase. Unless you buy a £1 bag. I'm not paying £1 for a bag. They give you free paper bags in primark.... if you wanna pay cash it's a inconvenience

   Reasonable stock and prices etc. Sadly this does not extend to the Staff at Rock Retail Park. Service being very much "Cash Or Card" barked at me. Therefore placing the article down I wished to purchase. Should do a lot better..

   Absolutely shocking experience, cashier bluntly told to my face that she is going for her break and use the self service machine, wont accept amex(of course no mention before that whatsoever), and you are not allowed to use the changing room because of Covid. What an utter nonsense. Wonder what is the scientific reason behind it? If your clothes are not a good size you have to come back and ask for a refund, then buy a smaller/bigger. Wont be coming back anytime soon...not recommended.

   Have a good selection of clothing for all the family and items for the home. Prices are reasonable and quality is good, clothes seem to last a good while and survive lots of washes. Worth joining their loyalty card scheme to get some great discounts.
