Next is my favorite shop, but the staff are quite rude in this store.. specially the oldies... don't feel to buy anything from this particular shop..I used to-go to brombrough inspite Birkenhead is so close. . Staff should be welcoming..
I’ve brought up my children with this saying “ treat people the way that you’d like to be treated. If you want others to treat you with kindness and respect then you will 98% of the time! And if they don’t then shame on them…. But don’t ever let it be shame on you! “ I think some customers need to remember this as respect is a 2 way street. I’ve been behind customers who’ve been held up by kicking off at the staff. I’m sorry but what’s that going to achieve? Nothing it’s just going to make the poor member of staff feel like nothing and then they panic and make mistakes that could if been avoided had the customer of had a wee bit of patience. I’m sorry but it’s not the staff members fault for your bad day or that you’re in a rush. Would you accept that? Nobody does. I’ve never had an issue with the staff but then again I’ve got manners. I think I’m going to regret this review.
Today I am talking about my worst time in my life with Next shop Birkenhead.,I was looking for my 9 year old girl for a Christmas set. 6 year old son in looking for her hair band. One of the staff in the front desk, She badly treated my son and daughter. She said put it back in the hair band back to row, don't take it, when I see that I came and spoke to my kids what happened and what she told you. My son was very sad and my daughter also. She told me why she treated like that.I ask that unmannered lady why you spoke to my kids like that ,she told me four hair bands was broken already . That's not my children?what is that meaning. she talk to me very disrespectfully .I ask for the other staff I need to race my complaint, she called the manager but she was on a meeting. I cried because my kids very small I don't want upset them anyone.as a mother this is very important for me not for you .If you understand that will be great.if She need to say anything she can tell politely ,why I am writing here big messages she don't want repeat it again especially for kids.(I know that lady's name but I am not mentioning here that's my manner's) Thanks
Quality shop, quality merchandise
The lady who served me was part of the summer sales team she was very jolly.As for the staff the older lady in furniture department not very friendly as i think the lady with long blonde hair .Not very friendly very off putting. Considering how retail is going think happy staff who wellcome you would be appreciated

The staff is really nice but they need more of staff. Every time I go there I need to queue for ages.
