   Absolutely amazing experience at Alarz Express on Edgware Road! The food was truly delicious. We tried several appetizers including falafel, tabbouleh, fattoush, Humos,and the waraq enab, which was outstanding and my all time favorite. For mains, we had the lamb chops and mosahab, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Hassan and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable , truly top-level service. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we went there every night during the holiday season for shisha and food. It felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be coming back on our upcoming visits to London. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Lebanese food and warm hospitality!

   I had a very disappointing experience at Arez, despite the restaurant being very busy and initially looking quite promising. From the moment we arrived, the service felt rushed and unwelcoming. The staff appeared stressed and were noticeably unfriendly, which immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The food was even more disappointing. I waited around 30 minutes for a shawarma, which is far too long for a relatively simple dish. When it finally arrived, it was cold and did not taste good. Some parts of the meat were not properly cooked, which was particularly concerning. The fries were soaked in grease, lacked salt, and were not hot either. The only positive aspect of the visit was the music, which was actually quite good. Overall, this visit fell far below expectations in terms of both service and food quality. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

   Outstanding dining experience! The staff “Mohammed Ali, Dhaif, Abdulla, Ali, Nasser, Omar, Kareem & Mostafa” were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Their knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations elevated our visit. The food itself was masterfully prepared, but it was the staff’s unwavering dedication, gracious service, and polished conduct that truly distinguished this restaurant. It is rare to encounter a team so consistently courteous, efficient, and genuinely invested in creating a memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly commend the restaurant for cultivating such an exceptional standard of service. This establishment is a testament to what thoughtful leadership, well-trained staff, and a passion for hospitality can achieve. Highly recommended!!

   We went in at off-peak hour and was seated quickly. Menu stated “to inform the staff if I have food allergy” which I did for gluten because I was concerned to be served pita or bread. However the staff members were confused when I mentioned gluten. Then I pointed on the menu the part which says to inform them of any food allergy, they thought it was a dish that I was pointing to. I didn’t want to pursue as I had company, so I chose conservatively, hummus with chicken sharwama and spicy salad. My company had the sharwama set. And we both had fresh carrot juice. Food was served quickly and tasted amazing, I enjoyed the meal thoroughly and will return. Carrot juice is real and fresh, absolutely great meal. If you have no food allergies then this is a great place to visit!

   Used to love this place when I lived in London and was worried the restaurant might not be what it used to be. Was very happy to notice the food was still amazing, very fresh and full of flavour. The juice alone is a good reason to visit this place!

   The food here was great! It was ridiculously busy and while there was zero line up I kept getting bounced around from water to waiter telling me they don't seat people. The line cook told me to sit on the stools and just order which I did but then no one would take my order. The owner took charge and made sure I was taken care of and helped me. And after that the service was great. I did the mix grill, fattoush, and hummus. And all were exceptional like my grandmother used to make them back home. Would definitely come back, but probably during a less busy time.
