Great staff always lovely and chatty, items are extremely overpriced though, like the last service station for another 100 miles kind of prices. I've avoided going over the past few months as nobody seems to bother with masks when visiting but I don't blame the staff for not making this their problem.

I have shopped in Food and Tipple for many, many years and have always found it a great shop with great service from the staff. Worringly, for myself with underlying health issues, I asked them today why they were not enforcing Matt Hancock's decision to make the wearing of masks in shops a legal necessity. The shop advised me that as they had notices up asking people to wear them they were not able to legally refuse entry or service and told me that if I did not like this to shop elsewhere. It's the question that many people have been asking as it has become mandatory - from Friday July 24 - to wear a face covering when in a shop in England. Do I have to wear one? And can a shop worker refuse me entry if I don't? The short answer is - yes you have to wear one and yes they can refuse you entry. The Health Secretary Matt Hancock has gone as far as telling shop staff they can call in police if people refuse to comply. Never ever shopping there again as they have so little regard for their customers and their health, only interested in their profit and not in safeguarding their customers.

Nice little shopiece, the majority of the staff are lovely apart from....Michelle, what a rude, ignorant person that is. I have had the misfortune to have been served twice by her, the last time I was tereturning a parcel, shelf informed me (very Radley )that I shouldn't be bringing them when she's busy and she's not ding any more returns. She obviously doesn't realise that the parcels help pay her wages. I needed more shopping but needless to say I left the shop. She needs a few lessons on etiquette to say the least
