My wife and I had been saying we will visit The Worsley Stores for a while, so we ended up giving it a go. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and professional. We ordered the large cheese board, a large home made sausage roll, peach flavoured beer and later some lovely red wine. It did not take us long to realise that it was a place for food lovers and connoisseurs of fine drink. After a short wait we were presented with a showstopping cheese board that I must say was a feast for the senses, piled high with an exquisite selection of cheeses, accompaniments, and textures that delighted with every bite. The large hot homemade sausage roll had flaky golden pastry, wrapped around perfectly seasoned meat. The red wine that we had was to die for and the peach flavoured beer was very moreish, we ended up having 2 of those, the staff made our visit feel special, offering us expert recommendations and attentive service. The prices are very reasonable given the premium quality of the offerings. I will finish off by saying that we will most definitely be returning for more.

We came for the women in wine tasting evening and it was just absolutely excellent. I bought one of the wines plus a mystery case and we will back again. Thank you so much for such a good night.

Cute little wine shop with friendly staff in a great location. Stopped here in spring for wine with friends, the wine menu is good and the staff are knowledgeable about the wine, happy to talk to you and make suggestions. Great to have a drink then go for a little walk along the canal in a relaxing setting. Pros: lovely wine, nice staff, amazing location, dog friendly Cons: No fault of the venue but some of the other customers were a bit snooty, side glances, comments and a general unwelcoming vibe from a few different tables. Didn’t appear to be many nibbles if you’re plant-based, would be great if they could include something for us or mark up what can be eaten.

What a little gem! Not noticed it before, and so popped in for a nosey, and found a lovely little wine bar selling a vast array of wine (obviously) beers and spirits, but also coffee and a selection of cakes. Will be back for another visit soon.

Was good when it first opened. Really liked it when Whitney worked there. Always came over to take your drink order and made a fuss of dogs.

Beautiful little craft beer and wine shop! With an area to sit and have a drink and/or cake. Staff are really lovely and can't do enough for you. Wide variety of choice and a really relaxed warm atmosphere. It has fast become a favourite.
