Ordered 2 teas, 2 lunches and cake. Received drinks and cake swiftly. Waited 20 minutes for hot lunch, by which time drinks had gone, then ANOTHER 15 for it to appear. Not good.
Food arrived quickly but had to wait 30 minutes for bottle of water and coffee /cake so could not have drink with meal. You would not wait 30 minutes for coffee in any coffee shop. Poor coordination and deployment of staff. Cutlery dirty. Waiting time should be displayed at time of ordering so that you can avoid entering if wait is too long.
The ordering system is easy to use. Waited 20 minutes for a milkshake & another 10 minutes for my sons milkshake & orange juice carton. Another 10 minutes passed & we were given stale crisps - they did change. Then another 10 minutes later our food finally arrived, the prawn sandwich was ok - nothing special. My sons had pizza & curry - both of which were just heated up in the microwave- which was ok for the curry but not the pizza. It was really rubbery. The portion of chips were soggy & limp. Ended up leaving it all - total waste of money & not what you expect from m&s
Don’t come here if you’re in a rush!!. Waited 50 minutes for a replacement coffee. Original order of 2 hot drinks and a croissant took 20 minutes to arrive. The delay in service was a shared experience, saw 3 families go over to the till to ask how long their order would take. Props to Marci though, she seemed to be the only staff member rushing around.
It took 22 minutes just to get a coffee on a Saturday morning before 10am. Absolutely ridiculous. The ‘order online and deliver to table’ system only works when sufficiently staffed. It also means you wait behind other tables with large food orders, when you only want a drink. Never again!
The food is OK could do with more filling breakfast options
