   Went in here today, 1 staff member was sat in a booth. We were 3 people. He did offer the booth but we politely declined as he was still eating. Once he was done, we moved there and he made a comment to one of the other staff about us moving there... Ordered fiery rice bowl, they gave me 2 parathas instead of rice. The chicken was COLD. Straight out the microwave. Kind staff member with glasses said we could keep the parathas and chicken and he went to go get the bowl. Bowl came out chicken was mushy (it's not that hard to boil plain rice...) and the chicken as cold again! Couldn't be bothered to complain again so we got the food packed and left. The chicken curry wasn't even tasty. The chicken and cheese paratha was decent but cheese wasn't melted in places. The chai was the saving grace. Only good thing. Would not go again.

   Lovely decor inside this dine in restaurant, very aesthetic and pleasing to the eye. I had entered on a Sunday morning and could see it was busy, I waited to be seated until there were seats available. The Manager Sohaib ressured us and was friendly in his manner. Sohaib and his two Brothers run the restaurant and offer a very warming and welcoming atmosphere. It was quite a wait for the food approximately 45 min, however once the food arrived, it tasted delicious. Very authentic, I didn't feel that the food sat heavy on my stomach lining afterwards and tasted fresh, home made and scrumptious. The dastani chai was amazing, the cardamom notes sang in my mouth and didn't want this chai to end. The halwa was light, smooth and not too sweet, therefore not at all heavy and delicately consumed with happiness. I'll surely visit again. The samosa chaat was so delicious and bought me back to memories of India when I had street food there, the spicy masala beans had the right amount of spice and masala and the spicy scrambled egg mix was also another tasty addition. The restaurant is behind a bus stop and do consider that you'll have to look out for parking. Perhaps phone prior to visiting to avoid the busiest periods. Sohaib is in the process of sorting out signage outside as I raised this, nearly missing it as I had walked past. However this is in the process of getting sorted. Other than that I'd surely recommend you visit the place if you want a lovely tasting breakfast to eat! All the dishes were clean and nothing left on them at all in the end, happy days.

   Brilliant! First time here, biryani was excellent and the aloo and Nutella parathas smashed it. Great customer service, fast and attentive. Clean place, lovely understated decor. Would recommend.

   Heard a lot about this place. Came from Yorkshire and this place did not disappoint. The halwa gets a special mention. Food took a while to come, but they were busy and everything is made fresh. Good atmosphere, great food and impeccable customer service. They also have Ludo to play while you wait for your food!

   I would definitely recommend Chainak to anyone that wants to have freshly cooked food, excellent customer service and a friendly service. Almost 20 of us rocked up for brunch the day after my niece’s wedding. We may not have had a booking but we were made to feel welcome and even seated together Once orders were taken, it didn’t take long for the food to arrive piping hot. They even catered to the fussy eaters in our group. Overall we spent a great afternoon in good company, had a lot of fun, made a lot of noise and ate freshly made food that tasted amazing! Thank you Chainak!

   Ordered the Chainak Desi Breakfast today and have to say that it was one of the best i have had around Walsall in a long time. Everything was freshly made including the parathas, not ready made stuff. The Dastani Tea was on point. Packaging and delivery was fantastic 10/10
