Fantastic escape room experience. We did the horror one and it did not disappoint. They did very well setting the scene and the puzzles were challenging yet solvable. Overall highly recommend and would go back and try out some of their other rooms.
Myself and a group of 6 other people (4 adults, 3 children) went the Moviescape in Stockport to play in the Merlin’s Magic Academy room, and it did not disappoint us at all! Our age range was from 6 to 34 and we all enjoyed it, it wasn’t too easy and it wasn’t too hard it was just right for us! You get everything explained to you thoroughly before hand watching an introduction video, which is helpful, the staff are lovely in there and the set up is brilliant! You even get your photo taken at the end by the staff and have the option to have it downloaded digitally on your phone or you can buy the photos in frames, key rings, or magnets! We will definitely go again!!
We had a blast at moviESCAPE Stockport! It was our work Christmas celebration and for seven of us our first time in an escape room. It was so much fun and was more challenging than expected, which was good and it felt like we'd achieved something when we escaped (even though we were a bit over the time). We had a meal booked otherwise we would have liked to have one of their yummy sounding coffees and hot chocolates. I would highly recommend this venue.
Great set up and the escape room was great fun. We did Sawtopsy and really enjoyed it. The room had a lot of physical locks - combinations and key based.
Great Set! We did the saw room was great fun just me and my wife managed to escape, we were early for the event and they let us start early as room was ready REALLY enjoyed it that we've rebooked 24 hours later!
This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.
Highly recommend this amazing escape room challenge! We did the Haunted House challenge and it was excellent, building is really atmospheric too and the staff are superb. Thanks Amber for making us feel so welcome and we had a lovely photo printed with card frame too. Highly recommended
Absolutely amazing. Went with my wife to the haunted house escape room and we had an incredible time and such a laugh with a fair few jumps cares along the way. The staff were so nice and helpful. On the way out we were already planning our next visit to try a different room
Had a great time in the haunted house escape room! Lots of puzzles to solve, quite hard at times but good little clues provided where needed! Scary and fun! Staff were friendly and relaxed, it was an enjoyable hour!!
Review based on Nov21 visit - we did the Haunted House escape room, lots of puzzles to solve (above intermediate level!) but we had great fun and managed to escape with 3 mins left to go! The venue provides hot and cold refreshments, snacks and sandwiches, and booths where you can sit down and watch an intro video about what you need to do. There are also lockers to leave your bags or jackets. Enjoy!
