The manager/ owner, Ethan, is very friendly like all of the staff and it is very welcoming. They have awesome decor and a very big selection of products that all are a nice fit in the store.
My son and I visit the cafe twice a week to meet with friends. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The space itself is very clean and there is a variety of board games, arcade games and consoles available for use. There is a wide range of food, drinks and snacks available at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend a visit!
My experience was great overall. I would highly recommended this venue! The best, fun and most enjoyable place in Dudley maybe the west midlands! Milkshakes and food are spot on options for vegetarians and vegans (vegan shakes, vegan hot drinks, vegan burgers and even vegan hot dogs!) I enjoyed my evening playing board games ranging from old classics to newer ones! Joining in and learning on trading card games. One of my personal favourite activities is the arcade machines they have here mortal Kombat and street fighter classics. Raja and Ethan are the perfect new friendly owners, they have changed things up and made the experience fresh. They always look after me and my friends!
Awesome place to hang out with friends. The new people running Geek retreat Dudley make you feel so welcome and are super friendly. Ethan (I think that was his name) talkrd us through all the things geek retreat had to offer. You can play games and buy cards, even play video games there. I had a coffee whilst looking over the menu and Ethan explained that they are getting a new menu soon and they want to make it cheaper for the visitors. Looking forward to joining a D and D night and also doing some crafting. It is looking to have a promising future, so I will be looking to return very soon
Been going since the summer and the staff are absolutely fantastic. They are always so helpful and willing to always take that extra step to help anybody out. With daily events going on, there is something for everybody here. I encourage anyone to check it out.
10/10 I've been coming to this place for several months now and each trip is better than the last. The huge range of games and events that go on here are amazing. If you are a fan of card games, Board games (including D&D) or even video games; then this place is for you. The staff are supper friendly and gives a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The great range of foods and drinks from burgers, pizzas to hotdogs. This place has everything for everyone. If you have an interest in a game or like to know more of a game and a place that feels like home, then this is the place for you.
Great coffee, great people. Went in a couple times now and each time has been really nice. It’s great to go in, have a coffee and end up chatting to another customer or one of the passionate staff members about the games we both love and I plan on going to one of the many events they plan. The community they have seemed to build in a short time is brilliant and I love going in and seeing so many people sitting and playing games. Lovely shop and super friendly place.
