Just fancied a quick snack. The owners were very friendly. Could not do enough. I had a very friendly conversation about where I was from. Certainly would recommend it. Excellent service.
Waited an hour an 45 minutes for my food. When I phoned to see where my order was they put the phone down on me it was very rude. When my food eventually got here the oder was not correct it was stone cold and there was hair in the food. I have never had something as bad as this I have tried to contact the shop to tell them my order was Completely wrong they did not answer the phone after quite a few times of phoning them. I am absolutely disgusted
This is the breakfast ive just had delivered! Food was awrful, the red sauce was a strange pink colour, toast was untoasted, bacon was hard dry. Talk about portion control on the mushrooms! Not even a spoonful.
This place has had a number of new owners over the years and served the worse fish and chips imaginable. I never get food delivered as I'm able to walk or drive mycar so not as if food has been sweating in its wrapping for 30 minutes.. A few years back this place changed hands yet again and it was just fabulous. Excellent fish chips, fresh baguettes, breakfast and so on. Spotlessly clean, great staff , everyone wore uniform,ppe, hair coverings etc. Visited a fortnight ago and my heart sank. Obviously new owners, counters, windows greasy and smeared. The server/ owner was dressed like an extra from Citizen Khan, brown shirt, trousers, shoes, no apron or hair covering. A group of boystrous lads stuffing their fat little faces with kebabs kept bumping into me whilst I waited for my order. Owner didn't once ask them to behave themselves. I asked for mini fish and chips and mushy peas and owner tried to charge me for a large fish! I said I'd ordered a mini, it was definitely not a large cod. Eventually I said look mate, just charge me whatever because I wont ever return here. Chips were okay, not battered which is a plus but not hot , mush peas had not been sufficiently soaked or cooked and were verging on crunchy ( I kid you not) fish had decent batter but was definitely stale as it did have a bit of an ammonia whiff. Such as a shame as the previous owners had really turned this place around.
Very good, staff who served me. Had spicy veggie pizza. Standard of service 10 out 10. Very polite and professional service. I would recommend this place to anyone. The chips are so tasty, I had curry chips.
Been going to Brickkiln chippy since it opened with the recent owners. Great food! Great happy, friendly service. Always aim to please. Just tried for the 1st time the pizza, we had 3 different types and the whole family said they were DELICIOUS!!
