   Menu looked great as we read it at the road side, but where is the restaurant... ah down these steps... "Is it open?" and inside we go and it is so lovely, warm and inviting and surprisingly bright and sunny considering it is halfway below street level. The gentleman who showed us to a table was very nice and friendly and the food was extremely plentiful and very fresh and delicious. We spoke afterwards with the lady who is the owner/chef? and she is also very charming and lovely. We had a great time here and will definitely come again. In fact, we spoke about returning the moment our food arrived! :)

   After having to walk out of a nearby apparently excellent restaurant we needed a plan B asap. Papas was nearby and had excellent reviews- these turned out to be correct! We loved this chilled out Med food inspired restaurant thanks to many vegan choices, great personal service and delicious food. The atmosphere was positive and the manager/ (owner?) was genuine. Would definitely return!

   Service was excellent, especially from Rosa what with her passion for the cuisine. Food was UNBELIEVABLE. A hidden gem in the centre of Harrogate. All the dishes were 5 stars, but we absolutely loved the Galaktoboureko dessert and would recommend that to anyone eating here.

   Excellent food! 5 stars BUT be aware if you need gluten free or vegan options. When they are busy and you have a large group they forget about those needs. Wrecked my world for a day so just beware. Do not recommend for gluten free crowd sadly and they served my vegan friend cheese on her vegan salad.

   A beautifully decorated and authentic Greek taverna run by a family. We ended up here by chance late on a Saturday night for dinner. It was bustling and lively. Very friendly and helpful staff. The menu is split into various meze options - vegetarian, cheese, meat and fish. We couldn't choose, so ended up opting for the Chef's special meze platter for 3 people. We weren't disappointed! The food was fantastic and the portions were large and filling. We paired it with the Morande Sauvignon Blanc, which was zesty, fruity and sharp. My favourites were the courgette fritters, fava beans, calamari, and meatballs. The pita bread and all the dips were lovely too. Service was good, especially considering how busy it was. I would absolutely recommend trying this place!

   Beautifully decorated, providing a charming environment. We visited quite early in the evening, so the restaurant was fairly quiet. We received friendly service and didn't wait too long for the food to arrive. The menu provided a good variety of options, including vegetarian and some vegan dishes. We opted for the vegetarian platter. The food tasted fresh and packed with flavour, with a good portion size. The only slight detracting point was that we didn't get much bread. However, we also didn't ask for more. Overall, an enjoyable experience.
