Panto Dec 2026. Came as a large team outing. Lovely little theatre – atmosphere was fantastic, actors were fabulous and the kids absolutely loved the engagement with water pistols. Panto as it should be! I would highly recommend and will be going back next year over the larger more popular theatres in the city.

If you’ve been to the Manchester opera house for a panto, you’ll know that for a ticket price that’s almost double this place you end up in the rafters. Sure, SAT is smaller and not the same production value, but that’s the charm of it. The actors and actresses, front of house and stage teams care passionately about local theatre and it shows in their performances. Engaging, entertaining and modernly relevant.

Went to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with family

There to see a special concert, remembering Vincent Sheedy. Good choice of venue: great acoustics, friendly bar and, when the weather is good, an outdoor veranda with seating

Watched Jack & The Beanstalk with my family . The cast, crew, the whole place, operates on what I imagine is a shoestring budget but we had the best time. The show was fantastic and we all loved it. Loads more fun than most of the bigger shows in town.

First visit to the panto at Salford Arts Theatre. What value for money! Will definitely be returning next year! Thoroughly enjoyed by both myself and two young grandchildren (5 + 4) not used to sitting still but they stayed in their seats with no whining! Testament in itself! Fantastic cast and how wonderful the children got to have their photo with members of the cast at the end. Shower caps and a sense of humour required!

Excellent AmDram productions. We saw Jack & the beanstalk. They put on very good shows at very resonable ticket prices. Their shows are a lot of fun and well worth a visit.
