Beautiful natural space. Lots of rope swings, kept the children busy for hours. Hadn't realised the time! Some really beautiful picnic spots.
Went for a walk in the wood. lovely walk not too long
Only been to this location for an evening 'Bat Walk' in WorsleyWoods. Run by Salford and well worth trying if you're able to enjoy a c3km walk late evening into the dark night. 2024 cost £2 adults but children walked free. Thanks to the Ranger who led the walk, explained and informed about bats, and made everyone welcome.
Never would have thought that a beautiful cricket ground was here, was over the moon and enjoyed the visit, and the sun was shining all day,not to be missed.
