Feedback for our first skateboard session: it was super fantastic! I really felt welcomed, even though it was my first time joining and I’m just a beginner. The coaches proactively came over, introduced themselves, and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. During the session, the coach (I’m so sorry, I forgot her name as I’m not really good at remembering names, but I’ll make sure to find out next time I join!) was very patient and taught us the tricks step by step, encouraging us whenever we managed to do them. The first impression was soooo good — they’re so cool, professional, and friendly! Highly recommended!

We've been coming here as part of our programme MCR Social, asking Projekts to delivery inclusive sessions for the disabled and neurodivergent teens we work with - it has been absolutely amazing! Luke, the instructor, is a fantastic and very supportive coach! Very friendly and approachable, he really helps everyone feel welcomed and at ease, and expertly manages to work with the group who have quite a range of abilities - we've seen some really amazing development, with people clearly growing independence and confidence from the sessions. It's been a massive success and we're so thrilled, the whole group is so excited to visit every time! A big thanks to Luke and everyone at Projekts, as well as Alex and John who helped organise the sessions! We can't wait to come back :-)

Attended the Gurriers gig. The venue is only a very short walk from Piccadilly but found out when I got there you can also access it very quickly from the Mayfield Depot road too which is where the queue line was lined up towards. The queue was incredibly slow I'm afraid. Missed the first support but could obviously hear them as it's an open venue under a motorway. Tickets were being checked via old fashioned clipboard so maybe the ticket scanners were not operating? Its my first visit and will give benefit of doubt, it's primarily a skate park after all. Once in the venue was fantastic. Good range of drinks with some of the best staff too, never had to queue as service was really fast. Bundobust provided catering and was just as fresh as in the restaurant. The sound in the venue is brilliant. I couldn't hear any traffic and it's a nice atmosphere. The floor is obviously a day to day skate park.. under 18s sliding down ramps were in their element. Older people nervously navigating steep ramps and mosh pit kerbs. If the venue puts on more gigs (please!) then worth investing in some temp flooring to protect the skate park and create a flatter viewing area. Portaloos were a bit dark and urinals were across the road so has it's quirks. The Gurriers were amazing and the venue does have a great enclosed feel. Overall a brilliant experience.

Very nice park.. lovely cafe attached. Larger than most skateboard parks. But a few good long runs. Good size bowl. Well maintained . Downside. . I'm from wales, and in wales everyone talks to everyone and trys to help each other. . If your seen to be struggling on a move. Someone will pop over and show you how. Give you a few tips. In Manchester. This didn't happen. Grandson was there for the full 2 hours only one person spoke to him. Hospitality. Needs improving

Wonderful project at the iconic MCR Skatepark . Kids of all abilities getting attentive and fun experience from tutors Lewis and Josh plus the other staff. Highly recommended for getting some brilliant coaching.

Had a great beginner lesson in inline skates with Matt, he was really thorough and very patient and encouraging. The hour flew by! I'm really looking forward to coming again next week. All the staff were so welcoming. I'm too new to skating to comment on the ramps and obstacles etc, but the facility really looks fantastic. It's a very short walk from the train station so very practical for me having to travel from out of town.

Fantastic place for a skate even if the weather is a bit rubbish as it’s mainly covered. Coffee from here is fantastic too which is rare for a skatepark!
