The Curiosity Mill is our favourite place to go and play! Each area is so inviting for little ones with so many weird and wonderful provocations. All the areas encourage imaginative and creative play with the open ended resources and it’s so easy for adults to get immersed in their child’s play as well which I love. The space is such a relaxing and calming environment and Leanne is so lovely. It’s a perfect opportunity to chat with other parents whilst children explore in a safe space. The sessions are limited in terms of numbers so it’s never overcrowded or overwhelming. It’s just the most amazing play space.

Our favourite place to play ❤️ If you are looking for an exciting but calming group to attend with your children, this is perfect! I feel comfortable taking both my children (2y and 4y) and they feel confident to explore the carefully thought-out play opportunities set up by Leanne. The sessions end with a biscuit and story read by Leanne, and we leave feeling calm and not overstimulated! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We visited for the first time and it’s absolutley beautiful. My children loved every second of being there, the small numbers means you can have that time with your children like being at home with all the lovely toys. We will definitely be visiting regularly and recommending to all our friends and family xx

The Curiousity Mill is such a wonderful play space for inquisitive children! My daughter and son love to visit and explore, always finding something new on each visit! My daughter loves the craft set ups created by Leanne and my son loves the sandpit - he loves digging up the treasure! Hot drinks and teaching advice is always thrown in at no extra charge, I go away with lots of new ideas for learning and play at home! I would highly recommend!

Beautiful little play space for under 5s. So clean and inviting, with the most amazing selection of toys. Fairly small and not busy so easy to keep an eye on multiple children. This is actually probably the only place I’ve ever been where my 10 month old has been able to fully enjoy playing safely along side my 3 year old and other children. I only wish we lived closer! And the owner is lovely too

Myself and my little boy have visited The Curiosity Mill a handful of times now and each time has been full of awe and wonder! I love the set up of the rooms and that each room had different enhancements each time. The mill has such a calming and friendly vibe making the play time so much more enjoyable. My little boy was so shy when we first visited and is now so confident and chatty when we come. Leanne and Hollie are both approachable and friendly making the time to speak to each family during the visit. Can't wait to come back and play again!

We absolutely love Curiosity Mill. It’s our favourite place to come to explore all the fabulous preloved wooden toys and real life objects. Every day is different here with new pop up activities available at every session to keep all little learners busy and engaged. With endless opportunities, my little boy learns something new every time he visits (which is very often) and I learn more about his learning styles as it gives us the opportunity to play together in a curious and fun way. The environment itself is beautifully designed using calming natural colours and lots of vintage items. Leanne the owner really does have an eye for detail and her knowledge and expertise in early years education shines through in every way!

I took my little boy when it first opened and have been back a number of times since. The Curiousity Mill is a wonderful place for little ones. You are made to feel so welcome. There is something for all ages. Every room offers various different learning resources. The dolls house is a firm favourite. I also attended the Saturday learning sessions with my little boy. Leanne is brilliant within those sessions preparing the children for school. I recently held my son's party at the Mill and will definitely be back. I have recommended the place to so many people. Definitely the best place around for your little ones.

I have visited with my daughter from when it first opened. It's a beautiful play space with lots to keep children entertained. The dolly/pram are a firm favourite. Such a fabulous idea. You have to book early as it's very busy but I understand why because there isn't anything like it nearby. I spend my weekends and time off finding toddler friendly spaces and the curiosity mill is high on my list of places I love! Can't wait to visit again soon. I am always recommending a visit to other mums.
