   Visiting The Gate is a fabulous shopping experience!! It’s like a little piece of Bond Street has come to Guildford! Always a warm friendly welcome! Such exciting varied fashion which changes season to season…there’s always something fresh you didn’t know you “simply had to have!” Fashion from everyday wear to party wear and everything inbetween! Wonderful colours and styles for all figures and there’s helpful knowledgeable girls to guide you should you need! Who give you honest advice! Supporting smaller global fashion brands you know you will find something gorgeous that’s “not on the High Street”. I’ve learned at my cost that if you see something you love… snap it up! Liz and her team have a very clever eye for buying so season after season there’s something to freshen up your wardrobe. Something for all budgets! If you have not visited yet… you must!

   I received a lovely warm welcome in store. It looked and smelt devine. It’s just so beautiful inside. I browsed happily in a relaxed unhurried way. I was offered help but preferred to look myself. This store has a great selection of brands that I hadn’t seen before. It’s a wonderful independent boutique that has so much to offer if you’re looking for something special or some elevated everyday wear. It also has some fabulous resort wear. I was looking for a shirt to dress up and wear with jeans. The Gate Boutique had the perfect crisp white one by Second Female. It is excellent quality, and beautiful soft cotton that looks smart. There were a few I liked and was able to try in a lovely curtained changing cubicle. It was really well priced too. The Gate gives great customer service with just the right amount of friendly attention without any pressure to buy. I came away delighted by my shopping experience and my perfect shirt which is my firm favourite now. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend popping in.

   I visited the shop today and both shop assistants were fabulous, I hate shopping and they found a great outfit for me that made me feel happy to go out today. Really recommended especially if you are finding you can't find anything or even if you love shopping.
