Difficult to deal with when you're not the "paying parent" They took the decision to override a courts recommendation that contact be in a centre supervised and let the child out to the shops with visiting parent when they had been expressly advised that this wasn't to happen by the child's guardians who held over riding parental responsibility. They stated they used their discretion to assess any risk but this still didn't sit well with us or the child's social worker. They didn't even have the courtesy to contact us to let us know If we hadn't have been moving area we would have stopped contact at this centre immediately as this action raised safeguarding concerns to us.
