    Food was excellent but this place is massively let down by the staff attitude. I had the smash burger, it was small but good for the price. The woman at the counter just stared at us until we ordered, then once we had we were asked "is that it" After what felt like an eternity, the server brought our food and stared blankly at us without saying anything until we told her who's food was who's. Its a shame considering grind used to be one of the staples of wakefield that the service has gone down the toilet.

    Came in here as I saw a sign outside that Yorkshire tea is £1.90 so I went in during my dinner break whilst I was visiting Wakefield. The cafe is quite spacious on the inside, with a good amount of seating available. They have a range of teas and coffees available with alternative milk. They also have some sweet treats in the glass cabinet to pick from if you're tempted. I got myself the school cake (sprinkle cake). They also serve food which I didn't get. The staff were friendly and the cafe has two ways to enter/exit. Definitely a nice cafe worth visiting

    Served a hazelnut hot chocolate in a dirty cup with a dirty spoon and hazelnut syrup was just poured out the bottle into my cup, it was pretty much half and half and just tasted of pure sugar, I asked for a clean spoon and was handed yet another dirty spoon.

    What an absolute dump staffed by rude and unhelpful staff. Ths is one of the worst cafes in Wakefield, if not the worst. Staff are rude and ignorant, the coffee is awful and staff are unapologetic for such poor offerings. There are plenty of other options so do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Awful cafe, awful staff, waste of money and time. Just to give a balanced review, the Grind inside the Ridings centre is a great deal better and worth a visit.
