I find it extremely disrespectful and disappointing that I was denied access to the toilet despite being three months pregnant and clearly expressing that I was in urgent need. I explained my situation and pleaded with them, yet they still refused to let me use the facilities, even though the toilet door was open. I understand that the place was closing, but basic human decency and compassion especially toward a pregnant woman should come before strict rules. It was just to use the toilet, nothing more.

Wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star. The world’s gone mad! A lovely visit to Thorns parks this morning spoilt by the sheer rudeness and arrogance of this little cafe, after purchasing £32 worth of sandwiches and drinks, asked if my young child could use the toilet, to be told no it’s not to be used by takeout customers a customer is a customer in my opinion, Even more shameful that they could see a young child holding there self with tears in there eyes because they needed a wee, and still denied them using the toilet, really think you should try implement better customer service to all your paying customers !

Stopped for a refreshment after a lovely walk round the park was busy and seating to sit outside. Service was very good and reasonable prices. Reason for 4 stars only given because no toilet facilities. Also cash only which wasn't a problem for me but maybe for others

Walked in with my one year old and my heavily pregnant friend and her one year old, purchased cold drink and coffee each. When my pregnant fiend asked about a toilet she was refused and told she’s not allowed in. I’ve asked “why are we not allowed we’re customers here” short dark hair dark eyes lady said “you know how many pregnant woman ask here about the toilet” customers inside was shocked, we’re absolutely disgusted with the service. Coffee was awful, nearly burn ourselves, no human empathy, this lady has no heart, absolutely awful person. Will never come back .

Decided to stop for a bite to eat on our walk in the park. So glad we did. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. The cakes were home made and extremely delicious. The service was very friendly.

What a beautiful little tea room within Thornes Park. Fantastic and very friendly atmosphere. Very dog friendly and our fur baby is given a sausage snack as do all doggies. We have a walk around this beautiful park finishing with a visit to our favourite tea room. Try it. You'll love it.
