My favourite Wetherspoons by a country mile. The food is always hot and the ale is well-kept (and the cider too!), and there is such a friendly vibe there. Always a good idea to escape Brum on the tram on the way home to Walsall!
A good spoons overall. The low score is because the bar staff seem to have no clue who should be served next. You have one job. Knowing who is next is it! Also they always seem to run out of Jaipur Order more. It isn't difficult!
Friendly and quick service, both at the bar and through the app. Great beer prices and selection. Not so great an atmosphere, but still worth popping in if you're in the area and fancy a pint.
A worthy regular in the Good Beer Guide. Well kept cask ales, look out for the Managers Specials - there are some unbelievable bargains to be had.
Very friendly staff, but if you wanted to go for food you would have to be quick for a table as it's extremely busy in there. Nice place though if you know where you're going in there. Clean and tidy despite how busy it was.
Awful. I asked for an egg benedict. Then was told they had no poached eggs? Yet they had scrambled amd fried eggs? Could they not cook one? Like how do they store eggs? Surley they dont store poached eggs in a freezer until there ordered? When my scrambled egg benedict came. It didn't look appealing at all. Didn't even have any rocket with it. I couldn't even eat it. As the hollandaise sauce overpowered the little scrambled egg that I had on the muffin. They didn't even allow me to have a refund ether as I ordered it on the weatherspoons app. 0 out of 10.
Great venue with friendly staff within walking distance of all local amenities
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a family meal to celebrate our grandaughters 19th birthday,most of us had a large mixed grill, the food was delicious, served piping hot, but not overdone, I couldn't eat it all, i took a doggy bag back home. Lol Would definitely recommend this pub, nice atmosphere.
Large spacious pub with the typical JDW menu. Good service with friendly professional staff. We enjoyed our breakfast and value for money definitely 10 out of 10. One criticism, our meals were just about warm enough.
