   We discovered this place on the last night of our weekend in Birmingham - had we seen it before we would definitely have spent more time there! Gorgeous little place, great staff, and if I'd had more time I'd have tried all the different ciders! Was here with my sister and Mam, just popped in for one for the road but wished we had gone in earlier.

   Very very busy when we arrived, which for hospitality is good as this present time. Very small establishment, not sure if they should be cramming that many people in, as at times it was elbow to elbow. Not true to the Micropub ethos, more of a 'small pub' due to all the 'usual' drinks being sold (spirits, alcopops, mainstream lager). Few cobs on sale when we arrived, soon disappeared! Prices not bad for Birmingham area, beer well kept. Certainly pop in if you are in the area

   Great selection of ciders and ales, good cobs and the staff are great and have good knowledge of all their vast selection. For a small bar it's got a great atmosphere and the punters in there were a more mature crowd than you'd find at you big name breweries

   Excellent micro pub with a focus on real ale and real cider. They have 4 real ale taps, 4 abk keg beers and rattler on the bar with a huge variety of boxed real cider. I like that they have 4 guest ales and don’t have any permanent ales on so you never know what’ll be on until you get there, unless you check on social media. £5 for a pint of real ale, crisps and a cobb all day everyday. Pricing wise is very good value for spirits and ciders as well. Only criticism would be that the seats are very uncomfortable, fine for an hour or 2 but anymore would be a struggle. Great addition to Blackheath.

   Really like this place. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, always busy and has an excellent selection of real ales and fruit ciders. Plenty of cobs, crisps and snacks to enjoy. The bar staff are also very efficient and attentive - everything you want in your local pub !
