    I believe that the products in this store are advertised in a misleading fashion. Some of the brands are ethical (people tree) but most are not. The cheap shoes are most certainly not produced ethically and are not vegan due to the glue used. The same shoes are also sold at my local market for a fraction of the price, as they probably are at most markets/discount retailers who also ship products in from china and other such countries with horrific human rights violations. I feel this store is just another depressing example of 'green washing' and even if I was convinced of the ethical claims, I am unsure I would purchase anything now I have seen the reviews others have given regarding customer service. Very disappointing indeed.

    I was reluctant to make this complaint here as I wasn't sure how associated the store is with the website, but other reviewers indicate that the owners/management are the same, so here it is. This is a last resort as I have sent multiple emails, called incessantly and even sent a FB message - all with no response. I ordered a pair of boots over 6 weeks ago and was billed straight away, but have since received no correspondence about where they are or why they haven't been delivered. Even the last order I made just over a year ago had its issues (a completely wrong item was sent out initially), but at least my queries were answered then. I have never made a customer complaint before, but this service is terrible. I can understand one email accidentally slipping under the radar, but not several. Extremely disappointed. If this can be passed onto the team dealing with web orders, it would be appreciated.

    Got my refund- months later from the bank. If you have difficulty getting your refund from this joke of a company then use the charge back service your bank provides. It takes weeks and you have to really jump through hoops to provide all the correct info but eventually they sort it out by getting it directly from the shop owners bank account. But you could save yourself a lot of hassle and just not buy from here in the first place! How embarrassing for the business owner, her bank must really be getting fed up of people doing this and I'm sure they wish she was a more honest, decent person to save them the extra work involved. I ordered an item which they did not have in stock and the did not refund me despite saying they would. I also returned an item from my order (within the time limit) and still haven't had my refund and it's been over two months. I have tried ringing (no one answers) and emailed numerous times. I have also messaged fashion conscience on Facebook and the owner of the shop and heard nothing. Apparently legally they have to refund within 14 days so they are clearly ignoring the law and acting unethically. I have checked the Royal Mail parcel tracking which confirms they have received the parcel and gives the address as the shop address. So saying the shop and online store are seperate is a lie. You can google the reviews for this shop and they are terrible, I'm shocked they get away with it. This lady owns the cafe too so she's clearly raking it in whilst ripping off people who care about shopping ethically. working out now what to do next as I'm not letting this lie.

    I need to return a pair of boots that arrived over a month late. They are unsuitable and I would like to return them. I have emailed this company several times with no response. I don't want to return them without knowing I will be refunded based on other reviews saying they have not received their refund even when the item had been sent back. I will take this up with my credit card company if I don't hear anything soon.

    Last week I ordered a pair of vegan boots for my sister, however I then found a pair I preferred for her elsewhere. The money had been taken and I received an order confirmation immediately via email. They said they were on pre order and were due in on Tuesday.. As I had ordered the other pair, and paid for them, I requested my money back... With no quibbles the money was back in my account 2 days later without me receiving or returning any goods. .. From start to finish the communication was excellent and very professional, and my refund was prompt. If they have something in stock in the future that I want, I would definitely order from them again.. Saw no signs of the bad service that everyone is writing about..

    I ordered a pair of boots a month ago. The money left my account right away and I haven't heard from the company since (and haven't received my order). Their customer service is non-existent! I emailed them twice, sent a message on Facebook and tried to ring them. All without any success. What a terrible service and such a shame because I really liked the idea behind the business.
