   Wide selection of clothes of all different sizes, however hot items do run out quickly. Great place for a bargain. Will be going back again for sale items that are very well priced.

   Have shopped here previously and was pleased with my purchase of men's work trousers but this time it seemed to be in a closing down situation. It was full of women's and children's clothes with no sign of men's stuff

   The array of clothes you can get in Matalan is incredible, and I have been a regular shopper since 2009. I personally think Matalan has improved in the quality and styles of clothes you can get, right down to the various choices and styles of underwear.

   I popped in looking for a shirt and found just what I wanted, I also found a lovely suit for £79 which I just had to buy. Result! My only complaint, hence the 3 stars, was that there's only one sales attendant and several self checkouts. I had to remove the tags and pack my bag myself! Didn't like that, it took ages. The bag incidentally cost a whopping £1.25! No one to thank, no 'have a nice day'. A bit of a soulless transaction.

   If I could put 0 stars I would do it. I think you shouldn’t hire lazy employees who close the store 30 minutes before the actual close time. I came Friday December 30, 2022 at 19:30 when it was written that the store closed at 20:00 and the 2 employees at the store refused to let me in because the store was supposedly closed even if I was showing them that on google and the website it was written 20. It gives a super bad look to the store. It was my first time going there and definitely my last. Hire better employees who won’t lose potentials clients.

   Many thanks to the very helpful manager & staff members working at 1pm on Wednesday 28th September. Today, I went to shop for frames and the self check out till crashed. I didn't get my receipts. Because it was paid with my business card, I needed those receipts. Everyone at the till area went above and beyond to fix the issue, asked for their manager and after several phone call, the issue was sorted. These 3 employees made this shopping experience better than most.

   I will never return to this place. I have had the worst experience of my life. The tall bald security that works in this place has treated me like a thief £10 for the cashier's mistake, even though I explained to him that it was the staff's fault. They should put professional people in these places. please.
