Would highly recommend, the manager and staff are always very welcoming. Never had a bad experience the meals have always been excellent . Nothing is ever to much the manager and staff always have the time even when busy to have a chat with you and that goes along way these days.
THANK you Jill and team. Big shout out to Santa and his helper today. Our Great Grandson, all 4 grandchildren, Daughters, son in law and ourselves had a great time today with Breakfast with Santa. H HE'S THE BRST SANTA AND HELPER I've ever seen, spent time speaking to all children at the tables and then sat in a chair for parents to take pictures and children to receive presents. Definitely will book for next year.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Never have any problems with food or drink. Waiting time wasn't long and all food orders was correct. Would highly recommend
A basic Marstons Pub, so generaly competent, but no Michelin stars. What sets it apart from the rest are the staff, who just do their job properly, which is more than you can say for a lot of places nowadays. Everything just seems effortless. Recommended.
Pub hosting bingo tables reserved for event, had to sit outside. Banks's bitter undrinkable tasted of chemicals. Mixed grill left a lot to be desired, requested medium rare steak uneatable.
The food is always freshly cooked, well presented. Staff are polite and friendly, always wanting to please. Everything is beautifully clean, in my opinion there is nothing tobe done to improve the excellent service given.
Pretty nice pub, surprisingly large in size with loads of parking. Wide range of drinks available, including some cool spirits I've never even heard of! Prices seem reasonable. Service is pretty fast too.
The menu caters for everyone with interesting choices. Loved the fact you can ditch the onion rings and mushrooms and have a side salad with the steak. My steak was cooked very well just a good as a steak from a steakhouse restaurant. Food came out in a good time and hot. From seeing the other meals coming out they all looked very appealing. Well plated. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Will be back as the meals were very reasonably priced. The place had a good atmosphere relaxed and cosy. Looking forward to my next visit.
The staff were friendly. The food was good and served so that the group of 6 could eat together. The place is clean bright and pleasant to sit and eat in. Xmas decorations were impressive. X
