Love matalan shol was clean and they had a great selection of clothes for the whole family. The homeware department was also very large with good selection
Great shop but I did have to buy my joggers from the men's department cos womens styles were very wide legs and elasticated on the ends.to me such a waste of material having wide legged trousers plus I'm only 5 foot 2 and they are for 6 footers.to long.
Went to buy a dress for an evening out, there were plenty of choices and I found a lovely black long dress. Looking forward to wearing it thank you.
One of my favourite stores to shop in (both online and in person). The Enfield branch is an impressive branch, in terms of size and selection of products. You could easily spend a long time there shopping and browsing! Clothes are very affordable, very lovely pieces of clothing for all people (men, women, kids and babies). I recommend this place to others who have never visited before and I never fail to receive feedback at how impressive they are with the store. Service of staff is also very welcoming and very helpful. They are responsive when the queues do increase. Very helpful. I visited today (14/10/2025), and was looking for digital luggage scales because I looked online and saw they sold them, and it was reduced. I circled the store twice and couldnt find it (was shopping for other bits as well), so i asked a member of staff for help, and she couldnt have helped me more. We circled the store together (because to memory it should be where she thought), asked other colleagues (because "home" was not her department), and even went to the back to find them. She found them! She couldnt have helped me more. I absolutely appreciated her efforts to help, because she saved me time from having to go to another store.
I've just picked up these school skirts For my niece of her first year of high school, who ever packed the order couldn't be bothered to put them on a hanger or fold them nicely. Very lazy.
Good quality for the price. Washable slippers that look the same even though they have been washed and washed. Saving the planet by not having to keep buying new.
Had few click and collect and also did some shopping.The guy near self checkout asked if it was card or cash,said card and click and collect.He was really polite and helpful. Another day,another click and collect,the lady at the till was quick with the transactions, so the que didn't build up,she was polite,said hello and thank you,which barely anyone says these days,she was quick to get the items.
This was my first visit in many years. I found plenty of good clothes to take on holiday as did my wife. Good selection to choose from and on the day we went, not too busy.
I love this place, they have the best collection of clothing. I just wish they would open one in my city. I'm a regular here and they know me by name.

The home section has a number of classy and chic items to offer for a bargain. Loads of sale items also available in all sections; women, men, kids & household items. There is now a nursing and changing room in matalan! This is such an awesome addition. It is by the fitting room. Spacious and clean, it has a big relaxing seat with a footrest. Another stool available too for older kids. A sturdy changing table is attached to the wall at a comfortable height.
