   A very big store. Has a carpark. Wheelchair accessable. This is the first matalan I've been to that has self-service tills. It's all on one level. Enjoyed my visit even though the store wasn't laid out to its potential. It does feel quite run down from outside through to the inside. Can pay with cash or card

   This store is getting lazy. Window display is getting lazy. Store is trying to be a self serve kingdom. I would like them to be a little bit more inventive have staff to support and maybe encourage you to try something different. This area could absorbt a little more community conversationing masses of area inside and out underused.

   This is located in the high street, and has its own campus. The parking is on the back side (take the land beside McDonald's) and there are ample parking there. Parking is pay & display though, £1 for 1 hour. If you buy £5+ in Matalan, you can get it refunded, by presenting the part of the parking voucher. The store itself is not too big and didn't have much stock variety.

   I've been shopping here a long time but I feel as though I can only give 2 stars as every time I come in service seems to be worse than last time. Since they've installed self service there are always long queues for cash payers/exchange/refunds. There's often only 1 person on the till & generally there are always a couple members of staff standing at the counter area chatting. Today I had the displeasure to over hear a male member of staff describing the skin peeling from his back. Please do better Leytonstone Matalan

   ~~~~~~~~~~UPDATE~~~~~~~~~ Matalan acknowledged their error and infomed me by email (Nov 2018) that the trays are now priced. Have changed my thoughts from a one star to a 5 star today because of this action. They listened then acted Great customer service! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Previous 1* review] NONCARING STAFF THEREFORE NO PURCHASE POSSIBLE Visited branch in London E11 1HH on Mon 22 Oct 2018 and saw some glass trays with gold trimmings. Seeing no bar code or price tags, asked an assistant can she tell me the price. She took the tray to the cashier desk and spoke to a colleague. I overheard him ask: "how many are there?" She answered about 5. He said, "we'll have to leave it for XXX to look in to". I left as unable to purchase and couldnt wait for XXX to arrive and give a price. ******** Returning today Fri 26 Oct 2018 to see whether the trays are now priced and so able to purchase one. To my horror the trays are still there with no price tags or barcodes!?!?!? *********Appears Matalan doesnt need to sell them and are there just for decorations! Certain the tray, the assistant showed her colleague is back on the shelf too
