   I usually have great experiences at H&M, especially at the Oxford branch where the staff are helpful and polite. Unfortunately, my visit to the Bluewater store was very different. On 13/06/2025 I visited the store and tried a few things on. The lady in the fitting room was lovely and helpful however I carried on browsing and picked up an item that had already been misplaced by someone else, just to show my friend. She wasn’t interested, so I put it back where I found it. A young blonde staff member with glasses rudely said “put that back where you found it,” and when I tried to explain, she cut me off and sarcastically said, “yeah sure you found it there,” as if I was lying. She continued to give me dirty looks throughout my visit, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed. It wasn’t me that misplaced it and regardless, I feel that employees shouldn’t speak to customers in that tone when they are just browsing not causing any trouble. If she had asked me politely to put it back there would be no trouble however the rude tone was very unnecessary. I’ve worked in retail and know this kind of attitude towards customers is unacceptable. I left the store feeling really disappointed and awkward. I didn’t go in with any big expectations however that was not what I expected.

   I went to H&M to get some clothes for my mum's wedding and they had a great selection of white tops, which is exactly what I needed. The prices for them where a bargain and they where very easy to find, due to the stores layout. I also found the customer service to be very friendly! I recommend shopping here if you need any clothes and have an average budget.

   Very poor customer service at till point(s) only 1 member of staff at till point at 5pm with 6/7 other customers waiting to pay. Store is generally large and lots of choices of products. This is excellent…. But wanting to pay quickly on this occasion was very poor.

   Shannon helped me find an outfit for my interview today and the fantastic service meant so much to me as I was stressed. She searched the whole store and stockroom to find something I saw online then picked out similar options for me as they didn’t have it. The lady in the fitting room was also lovely as I tried on the options and infact everyone we dealt with was soooo so nice! Thank you! xx

   Store was so busy, only 2 people on the tills and multiple staff members walking around the shop. Made me decide to not buy anything because of the length of the queue and the managers not jumping on the till to help get it down.
