   I'm writing to express my disappointment with the staff's demeanor, especially considering this establishment is located within a hospital. I was met with a very closed and transactional service. Even more concerning, I observed staff responding to simple customer requests with abruptness. From a customer's perspective, this creates a truly unwelcoming and frankly, toxic environment. Compassion should be paramount in such a setting, and it was noticeably absent during my visit.

   Costa is Costa, I can’t give it a bad review for the coffee. However the customer service at this place is shocking. Had an offer displayed in the cake section, muffin and a drink £4.99. It wasn’t until we sat down and thought about the cost, that we realised they hadn’t applied the discount. Went back to the member of staff to clarify and they said the offer was only available in the afternoon, though we ordered after 12:00. They also conveniently removed the promotion before we left so we couldn’t confirm what we were told. Terrible service, just be honest with your customers.

   Asked for coffee with coconut milk as I’m allergic to dairy. They put cows milk in it which resulted in a swollen and sore tongue and mouth after I tasted it. I took it back and it was rectified. But it’s not a preference it’s an allergy

   It’s a Costa within the hospital so quite hard to review but the service was fast and the staff friendly. The location was pretty convenient as you enter the building. Much better offering than in the past. Not somewhere I would go if I wasn’t visiting the hospital but still handy it’s here

   I had an iced coffee at D.R.I which was really nice. The Lady that served me was very helpful in choosing it for me as I've only ever had hot coffees. I use Costa regular & it's really nice. .

   This Costa is located within Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Its an ideal setting especially if you are waiting for someone that you aren't allowed to be with while they are having treatment. I did find, however, that £8 for a sandwich and a drink very expensive.
