   I visited to get a suit fitted for a wedding - Neil was very attentive and friendly, helped get me the perfect size, pick out a tie that would complement what I'd chosen, and offered to custom size the trousers - all without being pushy. Highly recommended

   I was upsold the most expensive dress trousers and then rushed through a purchase. Due to last minute requirement I bought them. When I got home I tried again and changed my mind. Due to being rushed out the shop (for a mum and kids buying 3 suits, only care about the £) I didn’t realise that I had only been given a gift receipt. On trying to return the trousers they wouldn’t let me, and I was forced to buy something else to use up the balance. Feels very wrong for them to have done this. Not the first time I have had problem with Moss Bros and I always encourage friends to use other tailors. Visit here if you want cheap quality and poor service!

   My friend bought a 3 piece suit over £300. Suit is lovely well made and perfect. Unfortunately the service from the girl assistant was less than perfect. Disinterested and at times reticent. Not helpful at all when asked any questions and seemed completely disinterested in serving him. I agree with previous comments in that staff need training improved and customer etiquette being one of them. She made us feel very uncomfortable.

   I needed a new suit at short notice to attend a function & ordered on-line with delivery to Guildford store. After 4 days waiting & with the function 3 days away I went in to Guildford store to chase progress. Amir was very helpful & reassured me the delivery would arrive in 2 days. Amir took my number & rang me as soon as my order came in. The suit fits perfectly & is of good quality. Thank you Amir.

   Appalling customer service. We ordered a suit for a special occasion and when we went to collect it the shirt was the wrong colour. When we asked about it a very disinterested staff member informed us that they don’t do the shirt in black even though this is the picture used for the main photo on the hire page. No apologies, no offer to see if they could locate the shirt else where. We will now have to buy a black dress shirt as the white does not look right. I don’t know if this is a Moss Bros thing or just the Guildford branch but I would recommend that you avoid this shop to avoid disappointment! Customer phone support is also a joke. I would advise Moss Bros to invest in staff training or hire new staff!

   Really, really poor overall. Lacking staff numbers and staff and trained staff who know what they're doing. And then the attitude, unfriendly, inflexible, and plainly disinterested, did nothing to help when I had a problem with the return date. They either don't bother to answer the phone, and on the rare occasion they do they hang up instead if putting you on hold. Waited 2 painful hours for a simple suit fitting, whilst the clearly inadequately trained staff bumbled about incompetently. Female manager Chris was couldn't care less about helping you and hides behind baffling company policy. Customer service, they just don't understand the meaning of the concept, avoid at all costs, just go across the road instead.

   Don't bother trying to call them. They have not ever picked up the phone when I've tried. Service in store is no better and a lot of the staff can be really quite rude and unfriendly. It's not a nice atmosphere at all. I've had the biggest issues trying to purchase from them over the last few weeks and as a result the company has definitely lost a customer for life. I won't ever be shopping with Moss Bros. again, or at least definitely not at their Guildford branch.

   We recently rented a number of suits for a wedding and instead of this process being a positive part of wedding preparations, it was the absolute opposite. All the male members of staff are clearly bored and make no attempt to provide anything beyond a rather basic and begrudging level of service. On two occasions I had to wait to be acknowledged by a member of staff, even though they were not dealing with any other customers. There was no enthusiasm or interest shown. The female staff member was much better; cheerful, helpful and efficient.
