   Well, online says opens at 8am. Now 8:35 and it's closed, Halfords maybe hire staff doesn't oversleeps shift or just edit opening times

   Ordered a child's car seat last week with no problems at all. Expected delivery at the store on 7th December. Got a call on 1st December saying it's ready for collection! No problem picking it up at Halfords Merry Hill on the 2nd December. Expected the young man to bring it to the till, but he asked where our car was, and he put it in the car for us. Great service from start to finish, thank you.

   I have never been to a Halfords with such efficient staff, they were brilliant! Highly knowledgeable, Matt replaced my headlight in about 2 minutes, and the young girl on the counter (sorry, we didn’t get your name) was amazing… she tried really hard to ensure I received my discount as I’m a new Halfords premium member. A thoroughly positive experience, thank you both

   Disgusting customer service from manager Wayne. My mother who doesn’t know much about cars took her car to have a headlight bulb replaced last week, she was instructed to leave her vehicle and the bulb would be replaced by the time she collected it. I noticed this week the bulb was still out, so she took it back today. Only to be asked by Wayne ‘well didn’t you check it yourself?’ What kind of response is that?! She has paid for a service (£22 for a bulb change is ridiculous by way!) and is then told it’s her responsibility to check they have done their job correctly?! As someone who works in the motor trade I am appalled at the way she has been treated and made to feel as though she is in the wrong when clearly the FITTERS don’t have clue what they are doing. When they finally had a look at it it turned out the connectors hadn’t been reconnected. This is a simple job that couldn’t even be completed correctly. Avoid at all costs I dread to think what else they get wrong when they can’t even change a bulb correctly.

   Air filter part not in stock. Halfords's Supplier then sent wrong part (apparently) - Annoying - my V5 document was viewed by Halfords staff before placing order, but filter that arrived was for a petrol engine, not my diesel. Will be 3 visits and store cannot give any reassurance they will get the right part this time as they re-order it again. Should have just ordered it on ebay for cheaper price and saved on my fuel costs , not to mention time wasted. Perhaps Halfords would be better sticking to selling Car air fresheners and cosmetic goodies - they don't seem to able to deliver on basic maintenance parts.

   Visited the store today and was met by Luke. I told him I was looking to buy a new bike for my son. He dropped what he was doing and gave me a good 20 minutes of his time explaining everything we needed to know and answering all question. Really nice guy and a credit to your company. Thank you.

   Had car stereo fitted by Shaun, great service, took around an hour and really pleased with the finish of the stereo, the wiring wasn't great to the aerial so he also fixed this for us. Wouldn't hesitate to use this service again. Great value for money.

   I needed a car daylight running bulb for my Vauxhall Astra. Two members of the team, Hayley and Lawrence were brilliant. They helped me find the correct bulbs and Lawrence helped me to fit the bulb in my car too. The shop was an extremely pleasant and speedy transaction. I was super pleased with the whole experience and my car now has the lights back on that it needs. Wonderful. Thank you!
