Such a lovely place for afternoon tea. Served with care and good humour. So accommodating and thoughtful, thank goodness as I had forgotten a candle for the bithday girl. A hidden gem well worth a visit.
I had afternoon tea for my baby shower and it was a lovely day. The food was delicious, the staff were so kind and attentive, it was so stress free to organise I would highly recommend. I also paid for cup cakes as party gifts for people to take home and they were so beautifully decorated all my guests we're very impressed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Lovely tea room with friendly mum & daughter working there It was the first time we visited & wont be the last I had the cheese & caramelised onion quiche which was amazing & husband had the famous fish finger sandwich that was also lovely & very tasty We had tea served in single pot with cup on top
A great find for a cuppa or much more! Very clean and nicely decorated. Lovely selection of cakes, lunch, desserts, ice creams and drinks. Super friendly staff. Lots of free parking. Looking forward to trying their afternoon tea!
Stopped for afternoon tea whilst in the area; we were too late for lunch, but their "Cake Tapas" special was perfect for two! Three slices of cake (we had chocolate caramel, orange, and Victoria Sponge), and a scone with clotted cream and jam. I had tea, my friend had coffee. The rooms are cozy, and the staff are wonderful-- so friendly and had perfect recommendations for us. (Don't mind Shed World next door-- the tea room is lovely!) They have vegetarian-- AND vegan-friendly baked goods, and are excellent with accommodation of dietary restrictions and food allergies. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Highly recommend!
Saturday lunchtime we found this lovely tearoom by accident but what a find! A range of sandwich fillings on a choice of bread, all nicely presented with crisps and salad garnish for just £5, freshly made to order. We then chose the cake tapas for four of us to follow, fantastic value at £20 including a pot of tea, all served on lovely China crockery. The choice of cakes was great and excellent quality, all homemade. It was served on a huge wooden board, decorated with fresh grapes, melon and strawberries. I can't fault the friendly service and beautifully decorated tearoom, we will definitely be back soon.
Very friendly staff, great selection of cakes. I had Poppies Cream Tea (scone, jam & clotted cream plus a nice big pot of Earl Grey Tea. I had 3 cups of tea!!) which arrived on a nice platter with a side of grapes, watermelon & strawberries. Nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I will certainly come again. Highly recommended.
