I have been shopping at Moss for the last two years and have generally had a good experience. However, my recent visit to the Croydon branch was very disappointing. I went there to help my boyfriend try a suit, but the customer service was extremely poor. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and not welcoming at all. We felt uncomfortable asking for assistance, and there was no effort to help or guide us. My friends who were with me felt the same way about the attitude of the staff. This experience was very unexpected compared to my previous visits to other Moss stores. I hope the Croydon branch improves its customer service, as this level of behaviour does not reflect well on the brand.

Do not go there for a suit! @ 500 for a suit and tailoring of the trousers and of course they got it all wrong. It is unbelievable how a company like Moss Bross delivers this kind of services and quality for this money. I will not recommend at all, not for in store experience and certainly not for quality or services.

Terrible experience!!! I've been lied to, misled and misold all in one day! Told the staff that I had an important interview, hence it being imperative that I had my suit for a particular day. Not only did they tell me it wasn't there after DPD said it had been delivered, but they also measured my suit completely wrong, meaning I will have to pay even more money to get a brand new suit tailored despite them measuring me in store!! Assistant manager Winston was especially rude and unhelpful. If you have an upcoming special occasion that you need a good suit for, AVOID at all costs!!

This place has gone downhill massively. I've been a regular for nearly 10yrs but today was the final straw. They don't answer the phone, they're dismissive on the phone and completely aloof when discussing frustrations. I was told my suit jacket would be available for collection last week and I received an email suggesting as much, but my trousers would be ready this week as they needed altering. The lady told her colleague personalIy these trousers need to be tailored and he asked her to put it through the system. She quoted me the price, I presumed that's what I paid for. Called today and told my suit was ready only to find out they had not been tailored and now it cannot be done in time for when I need them. Been told I hadn't paid for alteration so it's not their responsibility. The conversation with their colleague must never have happened then. No conciliatory tone, no apology, no responsibility and they hide behind head office as their hands are tied. Moss Bros as a brand are fantastic but the service level in Croydon is not acceptable anymore.

Outstanding store in the centre of Croydon, a few minutes away from East Croydon station. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The manager and the lady who served me couldn't have been more helpful with me trying to order a very specific suit for a wedding party. Checking my measurements and allowing me to try things on and even helping me to order online one item which was not available to be ordered in store. Highly recommended for excellent personal service.

The suits are nice but the staff are no help at all. The Asain lady was very rude and didnβt bother to help at all. They really need to assess there customer service skills, it was so bad that I didnβt want to buy anything from them.I advise going to another store for a better experience.

Where do I start with this store? Probably the worst customer experience I have ever had. I couldnβt be more disappointed with the level of service. I purchased a suit from this store on the 2nd June 2022. I had phoned through before to check if the store was able to help me. I was met with a very monotone, rude member of staff on the phone abruptly telling me it's open and if I want help I would need to come in. When entering, not one of the members of staff approached me despite the shop having no more than five people inside (including the three staff members). I waited for about 10 minutes and then approached a male member of staff. I asked him if he could help me find a suit. He proceeded to completely ignore me until I said "excuse me, are you able to help?" His response was "LOOK, I'M BUSY WITH SOMEONE ELSE JUST WAIT". He was stood on his own looking around the shop. I was very taken aback by this so proceeded to walk around for another 10 minutes until another lady finally asked if I needed help. We spoke for a few minutes and she suggested I try on a suit that I liked. She told me it fit fine and to go and try it properly in the changing room. Whilst there, in the midst of getting changed, the exceptionally rude member of staff pulled the curtain back whilst I was in the middle of changing. He muttered "oh" and then walked off without shutting the curtain again. I was so shocked I could barely talk. Once I'd tried the suit on, I came out and said it felt a bit too small on the jacket. I was told that there were no other sizes and it looked fine. These are supposed to be professional fitters? Eventually I was coaxed into buying the suit as I had been there almost an hour and was losing my patience. I went through the purchasing process and the lady serving told me she'd email my receipt to my email. I received the email after I had left the shop with no receipt attachment, just an email saying "thank you for your custom". What am I supposed to do with this? This is truly poor service. To enhance the issues further, when trying the suit on a week later, the day before the wedding event I was supposed to attend, the suit didn't look good at all. I was rushed out the shop, purchasing a Β£350+ suit which didn't fit, had threads pulling out the trouser legs and looked dreadful. If I'm totally honest, I was appalled by the service. Considering the tagline is "Britain's suit specialists" I was truly disappointed. I genuinely recommend you avoid this store. In fact, even after emailing the head office, I was met with a lot of negativity towards my complaint. I was fair and displayed the facts but was practically told βsorry, not much we can doβ. Therefore, Iβd recommend avoiding the company. The reviews of this store have a common theme and it is clear to see the brand itself just isnβt bothered about serving a paying customer. Save yourself some money and head down the road to M&S or Next.

Altogether managed to find me the perfect Wimbledon suits for the upcoming championships. Outstanding customer service, care and attention. Ted Baker blue and brown, brilliant lining. 5 stars review

Terrible customer service. Everyone working that Saturday seemed totally disinterested and indolent. Everything was an effort. they clearly all hated their jobs and didnβt want to be there around βcustomersβ. Shame as the 5x suits i was collecting are amazing and i had 4x groomsmen with me needing shirts, shoes, ties etc - but after collecting the already paid for suits, we decided to spend our money down the road at Next- where we got brilliant service!
