Went there to buy a drink and something to eat for my son. About 6 people stood by the counter so I got in line and waited. Then some woman walks in to the other side, straight in front and starts ordering. I got confused, not sure if those people were queueing or waiting for their orders. In the end I left not wanting to waste more time. Very disorganised. Apart from that it is grubby and smells musty inside. Won't be returning.

Met my aged parents here in cold weather. Unfortunately had the dog and were not allowed to sit quietly in the farthest corner. Why not have a small area for dogs? We bought regular take out coffees which would have been a fairly okay price if they hadn’t been mini. One paper lid popped off and covered my 82 year old father in too hot coffee. The hot chocolate was all foam. I told them about it and got a top up of foam… To say I could have spent the same amount at Wentworth Woodhouse, Earl of Strafford and many other local pubs, it se med ridiculous that we couldn’t go inside the shabbiest cage in Rotherham. No wonder it was empty and people shivering outside. RMBC needs to get a grip!

Had such a lovely walk around the lake but disappointed with our visit to the cafe. We were charged £2.75 for a regular latte which I would say is a fair price. However, when handed the drink it was obvious there was nothing regular about the size. For comparison, I put the drink next to a can of pop. It’s very clearly a small (actually smaller than I would expect a small to be!) but priced at what you would expect to pay for a regular sized drink. I’m not stingy and never complain about prices but this felt wrongly advertised. The drink itself was okay, but let down by how it was marketed.

Come to walk around, café although busy staff looked stressed only three on and grey haired woman who worked there was rude about another customer infront of a busy que after customer went to walk outside as they said the6 would take food to them. Food took far too long for what was ordered and wasn't worth the money paid, undercooked chips. They was missing food from menu so should be put on a board if missing food, prawns, quiche ect.

Went for a nice walk around the reservoir and unfortunately got caught in a big rain storm. No problem we thought, let's go to the lakeside cafe and get a coffee and dry off. We got in and sat down and a woman that worked there shouted at us "no dogs allowed". Luckily we hadn't bought anything and we were quite shocked how a place that has mainly dog walkers doesn't allow dogs. So we had to retreat to the car to dry off! Won't return at all. If I was you save the money for parking and go somewhere that's more welcome of dogs.

The food hygiene levels were non existent and the chips were quite clearly microwaved. They were soggy and underdone. Overall not impressed, avoid at all costs to avoid disappointment.
