Shop floor was clean and dry to shop around even though it was raining. Only drawback here was no toilet on the premises, a big reputable name like marks would have at least 1 common toilet.

What do Marks & Spencer even know. Went there to order a Christmas gift basket and the staff eg: staff, assistant manager and the Main store Manager did not know what we were talking about. Spent nearly 20 minutes between 3 or 4 members of staff only to get told the gift basket is only sold on- line. When it doesn't say the gift basket is only sold on- line. It's a shame a big company like Mark's & spencer knows nothing about there own company and advertising what a shame on you . Thay just want profit . Not what the customer's wants. Profit profit and more profit. Shame on you Mark's & Spencer's .

Normally very quick and nice staff but today customer assistant at the till was so distracted the clothes were just scrolled up and give. Then she forgot to give a bag we requested. We watched her walk away and come back because she saw us still standing at the till. Having been to other branches especially out of London, this branch is not the most attentive to customers.

I have been a loyal customer of this store for many years, and in all that time, I have never witnessed such poor behavior from staff, particularly from management. The incident began when I encountered a shop assistant who was notably rude and unprofessional when I sought assistance. Due to the nature of the interaction, I felt compelled to escalate the matter and requested to speak with the Store Manager. The subsequent interaction with the Store Manager was even more disappointing. Upon explaining the situation, the Manager was completely dismissive, rude, and showed a profound lack of concern for my experience as a customer. The Manager’s attitude and failure to address my legitimate complaint effectively created a hostile environment, compounding the rudeness I had already received from the shop assistant. The role of a Store Manager is to uphold the standards of the M&S brand and resolve customer grievances professionally. The Manager's behaviour in this instance completely failed to meet this basic expectation. Please be advised that I have already contacted Head Office regarding this matter, and I expect both the colleague’s and the Manager’s conduct to be thoroughly investigated and addressed. This level of service is simply unacceptable from a reputable retailer like Marks & Spencer

Managers in this store are so rude and judgemental. They certainly need training on how to speak to customers. Mainly the lady managers they have think M&S is owned by them. I went their to show them the jacket which was spoiled automatically just after wearing three times and they simply told me that I am lying and it has been worn many times but in reality I honestly wore it only three times. Bad service

M&S many years ago was far better than it is now. The customer service is absolutely poor at M&S. Especially, Bijeel the manager. She acts like she owns M&S and is very condescending, extremely rude, very demeaning and her attitude is absolutely poor towards customers. Why do coloured staff treat coloured people differently? Can't quite understand it. She needs to be re-trained, especially to work at a 'managers' level - definitely not what she qualifies for.

The foodhall is good because you don’t have to speak to anyone. If you do need to speak to a member of staff, I would suggest you go to a different store. Whenever I have spoken to staff I am given contradictory information - mainly in the clothes section.

Shockingly poor quality. Trousers I bought from Tesco's lasted me 3 years. Similar pair from M&S? - 3 months. Staff polite, but not even appologetic. I will never buy anything from M&S again. Extremely dissapointing. £30 down the drain.
