Large sausage and egg, three sausage and 1 small egg, asked for butter but non so very dry

All good dog friendly cafe, nice nside and a few seats and tables inside and outside too in a nice area with views of fields and park at the front. Food is also good and the homemade cakes and buns are lovely and not sweet and sickly like a lot of places sell these days, really nice coffee too which is always important and not over inflated prices. You can't expect waiter service in a small local cafe with few staff trying their best to run about talking orders and cooking and cleaning, but they do a decent job of service

A marvellous little café tucked away in Elsecar. Went in for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. The full English was huge and lasted me all day. Excellent value for money.

Cosy cafe and the breakfast was really delicious.

Really enjoyed eating in here. The value for money is excellent, and the portion sizes are extremely generous. The picture here is of the pork wrap that they have available on a Thursday. £6 which is crazy. Thank you for some enjoyable food whilst i visited the area.

Friendly and efficient staff, I ordered breakfast and asked for my egg flipping over (I don’t like a slimy egg) but it was hard and over cooked. Sausage was low quality as was the coffee. Also margarine was used on the toast which tasted artificial.

It’s cute but not great. Never been fully satisfied every time I’ve used this place. Breakfasts aren’t amazing, just basic, the paninis were like they were cut in half and sold in half. It’s okay, but not worth the reviews it has, I’m sorry.

Lovely food, friendly staff had to have a breakfast sandwich though as nowhere left to sit others it would have been a full breakfast that looked divine

  3. Simon Todd ★★★★★

Great food! Lovely staff. No idea where they get their bread from but it makes the sandwiches amazing.
