If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased my partner a jacket (£235) for chrismtas. Unfortunately it was a bit too small, so I sent it back as an exchange for a bigger size. It’s now been over 3 weeks, I’ve heard absolutely nothing from Percival. Despite the shipping company confirming my package had arrived at their warehouses, Percival have not communicated with me at all. For such an expensive product, this is just awful. With one week to go until Christmas , I’m so upset that this gift lost likely will now not arrive and I am nearly £250 out of pocket. I’m going to see show I can further report this company, as they seems to be scamming people from the other reviews.
If you want to have a few hundred pounds knicked buy a Percival jacket. More an experience with the online shop than in person but describes attitude of the company. Happy to take your money for (imo) overpriced items for the quality, but if you want to exchange or return your item they will completely ignore you. Company seems to put all of its effort into cringe Black Friday marketing campaigns and none into customer service.
Decent clothing, but mainly made in the far East, so expensive for how much it probably costs to make. Much like any other big brand I guess. Delivery always quick but returns are dreadful. Every return I've made I've had to involve Klarna to halt the payment as returns can take two months for process after the item is received back (I always check tracking). Latest return took almost three months from delivery back to Percival for refund to be registered. Also been previously been sent some very dodgy clothes that were listed as new. Received a shirt with the swing tags not attached and smelled very strongly of laundry powder. Obviously been worn, washed and sent back and should never have been sent out again. Got a seersucker suit with damaged trousers, which Percival then accused me of damaging and queried the refund. Got the refund but clearly items aren't checked very well when they're returned before being sent out again. Overall, decent clothes but won't shop here again. Quick to take payment and deliver, but the true test is what happens when you send stuff back, and the customer service after returns is appalling. Emails are never answered. Clearly trading on the fact that some celebs like their clothes, which I get the impression are the customers they're interested in keeping. Seems like a very modern business, interested in likes on Insta etc but with little substance.
Always great quality products and quick delivery. I can see some negative reviews on the returns/ customer service side but my experience has been the opposite. I have returned items with no issues at all. Would recommend.
Placed an online order and tried to cancel straight away. They apparently can’t cancel it once it’s placed but if you write a 1 star review on Trustpilot then low and behold they can??!?! Also they charged me £5 delivery which they haven’t refunded. Absolute robbery. Do not order online!! Reply to your response: the only reason why you refunded me was because I left a one star review on Trustpilot. Your customer service told me prior to that you couldn’t refund me but it turns out you can. You also had to be told to also refund me my delivery which you weren’t going to do.
One of the best clothes retailers in London. The quality of the clothes, the excellent customer service and the overall retail experience is second to none. I'll be shopping here for years to come!
Purchased a few items on the website, says on website delivery in a few days however the items turned up next day!!!! fantastic service, amazing quality going to be spending a lot with these guys when winter comes
I came across Percival after some recommendations. I had originally planned to purchase through the online store as I don’t reside in the UK anymore, but I had an upcoming trip to London and decided to visit the physical store instead. The general vibe in the store felt quite strange. I struggled to work out who was a customer and who was a store clerk. We weren’t welcomed by the staff and instead were left to our own device. The sizes were strangely diverse and I struggled to get a good overview of what pieces were available in the store and what sizes were possible. Whilst I am capable of asking for help, I hadn’t felt that I needed to go out of my way to investigate where the clerks had disappeared to and so I decided to leave. I don’t feel that the store experience is a good expression of how much these garments cost and I most likely will not return. I cannot speak for the quality of the clothing (in reality it all seems quite nice and well made) so this can be considered a review on the physical store.
They made a small error, and went well out of their way to fix it for me. Error isn't factored into the 5 stars because I've been buying their clothes since like 2011, after a model friend in London said if she were a man she'd only dress in Percival. I'm glad they're not, and I hope they're never bought out by a larger label, because service and quality are something you don't see a lot in a brand. A gem label that will inevitably become enormously popular.
