I had an awesome experience using autopoint. I am a first time customer but was reccomended by friends and family to use these guys. Owners are gentlemen and couldn't do enough to help me. Done Manual wheel alignment on my car and it was not done right. I had to do laser one different shop paid Β£20 here charged me Β£30 for Manual old method.

Used this place for years. They don't need to advertise because of their reputation. They get all a lot of work through word of mouth hence, they are always busy. So my only beef with them is I can't drop my car off and go to the Hornet for breakfast and my car will be ready an hour later! Still 5 stars.

I called them the other day around 11:30 a.m. and asked if I could drop off my car for the day so they could look at a problem. They assured me they could, and I emphasized that it was fine even if it took all day. I canceled all my work and left the car with them. However, by 5:30 p.m., I hadn't received any communication from them. No calls, no updates. So, realizing they were about to close, I called them, only to find out they hadn't even started working on it. When I went to collect my car, I saw it hadn't even been moved. The person at the shop asked if I could bring it back the next day, but after I asked a few questions, it became clear that tomorrow might end up being the same situationβmy car not getting touched. I understand that they might be busy, which is great for them, but managing expectations before taking in cars and improving communication would prevent self-employed individuals like myself from losing a day's income with the expectation of receiving some form of result. If they realize they're falling behind, they should inform customers promptly. I do wonder at what point they would have called me to let me know the car was ready.

Always thorough, professional and car drives like new after a service. I have been using Auto Point since 2007 on maybe a dozen cars and couple of vans too. Nothing that they can't do and always happy with the polite service.

I'll be honest, i have used them before (at least 6 times) and never experienced any negative issues with their quality of work, they've always done a very good job. But I've used another mechanic for the last 18yrs (family friend). However, i recently needed a VAT registered garage to do some work on my vehicle as the work would have been paid via my vehicle warranty so i called them to discuss the process and also book my vehicle in for an MOT. I know garages can be busy but when you're calling with a query that is likely to result in you giving them your custom you don't expect to be given the impression they can't wait to get you off the phone. The telephone experience put me off and i gave the work to another garage.
