   The agent was very professional in resolving my purchase issue even working out of the box for a speedy resolution, the agent didn't have a name tag so i can't personal commend her customer service. i found conversing with her to be very pleasant and warm, this has enforced in me to shop at this store in future even though it is at the opposite side of the city as i feel more welcomed and that the service is much better than other departments, i hope you and your staff have wonderful xmas.

   I had a main beam lightbulb replaced, which was dealt with by Charlie. She had a lovely manner, was quick and efficient, and was done within 10 minutes. I was only charged £11 for fitting on top of the lightbulb cost, which is so much cheaper than my main dealership who previously charged me nearly £100, and took 2 hours of waiting. I'm so glad I learned of Halfords ability to carry out minor works on the spot. Everyone should be aware of what Halfords can offer. Thank you Charlie.

   Such amazing service today from Pete and the team. Went above and beyond when my car failed its MOT. Gave honest advice and had my car re- MOT’d after work done and I have been able to drive it away the same day. Refreshing to be given such a good service. I will always return to Halfords York rd because of this. As someone that knows nothing about cars and cost of repairs I often feel I could be taken advantage of/ but faith has been restored! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

   Had a nail in my tyre today, went down to see the guys & was sorted straight away no messing about! I’ve never felt more welcome, customer service was impeccable!    Booked what I thought was a 10.00am appointment to have just two tyres and tracking done. Took the morning off work and went to reception 10 minutes before 10.00 am Booked it in and handed over the keys and told them I will be waiting there for them to finish. They looked surprised and I was told it would be at least 2 hours wait, I thought they were joking and told them that was a very long time and could not wait that long in their reception. When I asked why it took so long I was told there were three cars in front of me and they worked on a first come first served basis. They pointed out what I thought was an "APPOINTMENT" is merely a drop off time. They agreed the website booking process was very misleading. When I asked if took my car away and came back when would that be? After a lot of thought the reply was 16.30pm! Needless to say I had to be back at work. I told them to cancel and walked out very disappointed. Whilst writing this review it has occurred to me that the 2 hour waiting time I was told must have been a lie other wise they would have said bring it back back in two hours we will be ready for you then! So if you taken the trouble to read this just bear in mind it is a waste of time sticking to the slot booked just rock up as early as you can and join the queue. Here is the the confirmation text message from Halfords.. Your vehicle GY60*** is due at Halfords on 08/12/2022. Please arrive 10 mins before.

   Went this week, to purchase some breaks. I was greeted by quite possibly the nicest most friendliest sales assistant ever named Charlie. She helped with my purchase and fitting and checked everything thoroughly to ensure I was happy. Regardless of the job I needed doing , it was the manner in which she assisted me and ensured I was happy with the products. An absolute credit to Halfords.
