    Another 5 star experience at Halfords Halesowen. The customer service was truly excellent – friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. The whole team showed real care and attention to detail, making sure everything was done properly rather than rushing the job. Despite early hours and busy surrounding, they were still instantly available to change my headlight bulbs. No waiting around, no hassle – they sorted it immediately and efficiently. It’s rare to find service that’s both quick and high-quality, but the staff here absolutely delivered. A big thank you to the team for making what could have been an inconvenience such a smooth and positive experience. Highly recommend this branch!

    This was my second visit to this garage. As on my previous visit, the staff were very friendly. I booked my car in for a full service, and I was advised that the only issue found was an advisory to replace the front left tyre, which was measured at 2 mm. However, immediately after leaving the garage, my dashboard displayed a warning indicating low pressure in the rear left tyre (1.5 bar). I phoned the garage to report this, and I was asked to return so they could investigate. After inspecting the tyre with soapy water, they informed me that the valve was leaking badly. I was told that this issue was not related to their work, despite the fact that the tyre had been removed and refitted during the service for brake inspection and tyre checks. While I accept that it is possible the valve failed coincidentally while the car was in the garage, what I found most concerning was the advice and outcome that followed. I was told that because the valve was part of the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), the only solution was to replace the entire TPMS unit. I was advised either to return the following morning or to visit another garage, such as Kwik Fit, to see if they had the part in stock. As a result, I was sent away driving a vehicle with a tyre that was β€œleaking very badly” immediately after a full service. The following morning, the tyre was completely flat, as expected. I had to visit my local tyre garage, where they replaced only the valve. There was no need to replace the entire TPMS unit, contrary to what I had been advised previously. Additionally, the total cost of replacing the rear valve and fitting a new front tyre was less than the price quoted by your garage for the same front tyre alone, even after applying my Halfords Members Club discount. I am disappointed both by the inaccurate advice given and by being allowed to leave the garage in an unsafe condition following a full service.

    Went for an MoT, had to wait inside and the staff were super lovely. Very friendly and chatty, and considerate of keeping the doors closed in the chilly weather! They were prompt with the service, and clear with all the information they then passed on to me. Would definitely visit again for car troubles!

    Had a ten point check on my vehicle which was a freebie as I have joined Halfords premier membership. Very friendly chap on reception who said that the check would take about forty minutes. Went over the road to McDonald's for something to eat while I was waiting. On receiving a phone call to update me about the car,was told that the windscreen wipers were badly worn. I agreed to have these replaced and this was done quickly and efficiently. All in all, found my visit to this branch of Halfords to be very satisfactory and glad I had my car checked over. The chap on reception also said that the handbrake was a bit loose. I did suspect myself that there was a little bit too much travel in the handbrake. I will be taking the car back to the garage where I bought it from for them to rectify (it is still under warranty). Halfords also provided me with a full vehicle report.

    I left my car for an MOT and servicing It was given the all clear but when driven away there was an issue with the car stalling and shuddering. I took it to a different Halfords who said that a pipe had been left unsecured and they remedied that for me. This Halesowen garage didn't offer any compensation despite causing the problem and me losing a mornings work and pay to fix the mistake they had made. Would not recommend this branch at all and will be pursuing further action for the incompetence.

    They did an MOT but missed a dangerous tear to my tire and passed it anyway. Then when they sent me 0.5 miles down the road to a garage where I had my service done to fix an oil leak which they say should've been spotted during the service that garage pointed out the missed tear in the tire. Halfords said it must've happened over the 0.5 distance between them and the other garage because the inner fibres were still white. So they refused any discount on the MOT due to what was most likely their mistake. Later that day I remembered going over a huge pothole with that tire on my rush to get to my appointment with Halfords the previous morning where I left my car with them for parts, so I can only assume that it must've been caused before they did the MOT. As the fibres would've still been white due to minimal road contact. When in doubt over such small sums of money the company should put the customer first and their egos second.

    Quick MOT, one big issue, they could not check rear seat belt due to child car seat being an obstruction. They failed to mention that they tried to take car seat out and did not clip it back on to the chassis. I put my grandson in the car the following day only to find that the car seat was not put back at all. Luckily we noticed before I drove off. Halfords please advise staff to double check. Things could have gone so wrong.
