Very reliable and honest , I’ve been bringing my car to Ram for years for servicing and changing brake discs & pads etc.Way better than taking it to a Merc dealership ready to rip you off.Book in advance as he’s always busy !
This is the man! Seriously i have never went to anyone else since ive went to him he is the best mechanic in the midlands for Mercedes if not best in the UK my car is currently on 354,000 miles and still doesn't skip a beat all thanks to mr ram any issues give him a ring or pay a visit and be stress free knowing its gone to a good mechanic
The CATs on my 27 year old R129 SL500 were starting to breakdown and I was struggling to find someone to change them, with most garages not wanting to touch such an old car for some reason. Ram has serviced my dad’s Mercedes for many years and was not phased when I asked him if he could change the CATs on my car. I sourced the parts and got them delivered to him directly and travelled from Staffordshire to get the work done. The garage is clean and organised, Ram is polite and knowledgeable. The work was done without issue and the car was ready to collect on the same day.
Been using this specialist for over 15 years and have built up a great relationship with the owner, Rham. He is very honest and straightforward with his diagnosis and work. Very hard to find a reliable garage like this.

Raam does what he says he'll do and doesn't cost the earth. Very reasonable prices and reliable, uses top quality parts, (genuine parts unless you ask for cheaper ones instead). If it's a simple fix, he'll often tell you how to sort it yourself, many others would take advantage. Wouldn't trust anyone else as much as this guy, even the dealerships.
The worst mechanic ever!!! I took my car in for an airbag light on the dashboard. He got me to go back 3 times for diagnostics only. He finally got me booked in to replace the belt buckle. After replacing it the light was still on. So essentially he replaced a part that wasn't broken. He said I would need to book it in again for yet more diagnostics!!! He charged me initially £30 for diagnostics (hooking it up to a laptop) and then £150 to change a part that was not broken. He wanted to charge me again for more diagnostics and whatever the charge would be for the next part. Needless to say I never went back. I truly believe this mechanic took advantage of me being a woman.
I've been using him for 11 years now and never had any problems with his work. Raam has always taken care of all my cars. What a great guy he is and the knowledge he has on Mercedes is out of this world. I would recommend everyone to go to him and try him out, in my opinion the best specialist in the whole Middlands. Its hard to find honest hard working specialist these day's.
