Lovely reception staff and convenient location. Tried to use the walk in service for a blood test. No5 in the queue, ended up waiting for 1.30 h and had to leave before giving samples as it was still not my turn. I’ve worked as a phlebotomist for a year before and this is mediocre turnover. Better off booking an appointment.

No bike parking. Opening times are not what the doctor said radioglist takes undocumented lunch breaks so you don't know when it's going to be. Not managed to get the x-ray. Nothing like the good service you get from the hospitals.

Rashinie greeted me with a smile when I first walked in and immediately put me at ease. Sirju and Ebony were so so kind and helpful and Sirju did a beautiful, quick, gentle, nearly painless job of doing my bloods. Ebony remembered and answered a question I had asked at the start and gave a clear answer between appointments. I also heard them check in kindly with other patients so it seems like care here is not a fluke but a purpose and a common practice. Sad to say it’s not always common but so honestly thrilled with my experience here. A bit of a maze getting there by bike, but look at the map beforehand and it’s easy enough. So grateful for the exemplary service, the clean colorful space, and the ready availability of masks and hand sanitizer. There’s also posters up offering chaperones for testing which created such an active sense of safety, and with a few simple A4 sheets told me this practice isn’t hiding anything, and isn’t going to make you feel like you’re a burden or like care is scarce if you have additional needs or desires for your care that might take a little extra time. I arrived near the end of the bloods window, and the staff kindly allowed me to take a seat, discussed if they could do my bloods, then came to get me. I’m so glad they took the time (I’m guessing) to check with the team to make sure it was okay. Jenny did my xray and was very upbeat and kind and clear about the whole process—it was over and done with in just minutes. A 10/10 experience with an NHS diagnostic location. Seriously incredible. Also so appreciate the tidy toilets and foot pulls on the doors! Attention to detail is wonderful. Would love to see a little more bike route and bike parking signage as the estate is a bit windy and maze like, and maybe some warm decor—maybe some local artists like at the JR?

I’ve had great experience when I came here for an MRI scan. I have claustrophobia which can sometimes get severe. But it went like a breeze and I was not frightened at any point. So, this is a review for fellow sufferers: I think it is manageable, but you might need a little preparation. The diagnostic centre is lovely and new, and so is their MRI scan (GE Signa Voyager I think - I don’t know if they have several). It is situated in a kind of outbuliding, but you wait before the process in a very nice space where there is water, toilet, comfortable chairs and sofas, beautiful environment etc. The scanner itself is quite wide, actually a bit like an open scanner, not a narrow tube. It is also white and looks like a friendly spaceship. Actually, this is what I was imagining: that I was flying to another planet, and it would be a pity to miss it just because of feeling afraid. I took a small doze of tranquillizer in advance (discussed this with my doctor of course). My husband was allowed to be near me in the room, so it greatly helped too. Can be a good idea to ask your significant other or a friend to be near you. I told the doctors that I could get claustrophobic, and everyone was very nice and gentle to me, so many thanks for this! They also put me into the scanner with my feet forward, meaning that my head was not fully inside, I could see around a bit, could see my husband etc. (won’t work of course if you have to have a head scan). There is also a lovely picture with green forest on the wall which is also very calming. The process itself goes in stages: I had 40 seconds of scan first, then 2 minutes, then 6 and 6 minutes, and then again 2 minutes. I think, as it is not one long strech, it is more manageable. You have headphones and the doctor tells you what to expect next. You can also ask to have a break or stop it at any point, and you have a button for this in one hand. So at no point you are alone or isolated. It is a bit noisy and you have to lie still, but it is sort of OK and the headphones make it quiter. On the whole, it went much better than I had expected! Around the centre there is much greenery and a generously spaced parking. Good luck to everyone!

Great place, (especially like the free coffee!) went for an x-ray on my knee - but been waiting for nearly the full 10 days for my result....how long does it take for one to be developed and sent just down the road?!!

went for Ultrasound scan for liver scan , very nice new building and service from receptionist but the scan was very painful at certain points , the scanning assistant was slightly over heavy handed in moving the hand scanner near the ribs other than that the appointment was fine.Good thing was they were open late and free refreshments on offer .

Absolutely wonderful. We've been around hospitals for quite a few years now. This is a fantastic, friendly, welcoming and efficient centre. Thank you.
