   Motor bulb information pad in store not working. According to the assistant it seems to be commonly not working!. Store assistant looked up 'correct' fitment for car, but when I got it home found it was the wrong fitment. Now have to return to store for refund rather than there being an online option. Not convenient, and I have to return it within 30 days. Come on Halfords you can do better.

   28.11.25 - I collected the new number plates I had ordered today after someone had kindly pulled them off and left them on the road outside my house. A neighbour had glued them back on for me with "no nails" and they were cracked, so it was difficult for the young men who served me to use these old plates to measure up the new ones (and get the screws in the right place). I said they could glue them on if it was easier but they said no, they would try to screw them on first, as this makes them more secure. The store was really busy, with a constant queue (hence having to swap this job between them), but they remained calm, professional and helpful. I hope these two young men are being paid a decent wage, as they are a credit to Halfords. I will definitely go back to this store if I need help in future.

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Service from James – 26/10/25 Popped in on 26th October for 2 headlight bulbs fitting. The in-store computer recognised my reg but didn’t pick up the correct bulb. James quickly checked on his phone, confirmed the right ones, and sorted it straight away. Very polite, very professional attitude – an absolute credit to the Halfords team. He should be the store manager! Brilliant customer service start to finish.

   I visited this store today for a side light replacing. I have used this store on several occasions, being my closest, twice before for front light bulb replacement and been dealt with promptly and with no issues. Today however, was a totally different experience. The store was busy and I was left waiting for 20 minutes before being dealt with. When the young girl saw that 2 screws needed removing to remove a plastic cover in order to get to the headlight she went to fetch Bethany who took one look and said "Not a chance we don't do that" I explained that twice previously they had changed bulbs with no issues on the same car. She again refused and declined my request and said if I wasn't happy contact customer services. I drove straight to the next nearest Halfords to where I live at Guiseley who without questioning replaced the bulb! I asked why he thought Kirkstall would have refused to which Adam replied "No idea!". Needless to say I'll not be using Kirkstall again I would rather travel the extra miles to Guiseley. I received a response to my review from Chantelle as you can see below, all the link gives me is a virtual expert texting pre recorded answers. Feeding me with the same rubbish I received from Kirkstall staff. They're not serious about resolving this if that's the best they can do.

   I had a great experience buying my bike here. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions and help me find exactly what I needed. The service was professional from start to finish, and I never felt rushed or pressured. They made sure the bike was properly fitted and ready to ride before I left the store. Prices were reasonable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality bikes and excellent customer service!

   I needed my battery replacing, and a few other bits doing in my car, and the staff here were absolutely brilliant. A young lad named Mike/Mikey did an amazing job replacing my battery and checking everything else was in working order for my car. He even filled my oil and screen wash free of charge for me, and we had a good chat whilst he did it. Such a polite and hardworking member of staff.

   Called in as both my down lights had stopped working. Approached the lads on the desk who were really helpful and friendly. One lad came out to take a look, within 5 minutes both bulbs were replaced and back working again. Excellent service and professional throughout, thanks.

   I booked online for a headlight replacement including fitting which was easy enough to do. I got an email to say my order was ready so I called in to the Kirkstall branch in my lunch hour expecting to be waiting around 20 minutes to half an hour. I don’t think I was there 5 minutes before driving back out with both headlights glaring away! Excellent customer service especially the guy who exchanged the bulb, I’d never have known it could be done so quickly, thoroughly decent lad too. Thanks to all!

   Visited this store recently (and for the first time) in search of a tool to allow me to complete a maintainance task on my beloved CB1300. I could not have had a better shopping experience. Not only did they have what I was after, but, the staff there were, polite, courteous, knowledgeable and really helpful and friendly. I honestly can't praise them highly enough.
