I have a 40 year old Alfa Romeo that hasn’t run right for many years. Took it to RRS for the first time and Chris fitted a 123+ Electronic distributor and stripped the carburettors and now it drives beautifully. Chris is a sound chap. Eager to help and more than happy to teach and instruct. He finds the time to explain the issue and then how he intends to solve same. I arrived with a poorly spluttering TR7, and left a few hours later with a purring TR7. Don't waste your time if you have engine issues call him, brilliant guy and service.
Called Chris, we arranged a session with my modified Fiesta's crossflow. She has been setup within her parameters pending a new exhaust and bigger chokes. Good explanation, hands on and a good session on the rolling road. Worth the effort guys & girls.
Well I didn't use them in the end. I phoned them and spoke with a guy and explained my problem and he suggested that putting the car on a rolling road would not be the answer. He gave me suggestions to follow up to solve my problems. Nice to meet honest traders. I would recommend them on this basis. Can't comment on the quality of work but they give you time and they're friendly that's worth a lot.
Chris will never give up on a car. He has an incredible amount of patience, expertise and knowledge. I accidentally stumbled upon RRS and 2 years down the road I still use Chris for my car, because I trust him to ensure that it is safe and in turn that my children are safe. It is quite a distance for me to get to RRS but it's always worth it.
