   Saturday 25th February 2023 We visited this excellent place it has a grand range of real ales on hand pump does a good discount for CAMRA members and its a lovely place to drink beer a must to visit when in Doncaster Saturday 6th September 2025 Today I went to this grand micro pub in Doncaster again great staff grand choice of hand pumped beers on offer.    Pint of hoffmeister. £6.45! Yes thats six pounds and forty five pence! Dearest pint I have ever bought in Doncaster by some way and not far off one of the dearest pints I have ever bought outside of a music festival/sporting event.. Absolute rip off. Wool market charges ridiculous rents and it all gets passed on to mugs like me. Never again. Just in reply to the response below. There was no entertainment or fireworks display when i visited, 17/11/24. In fact there was no entertainment or atmosphere at all and we had to move tables three times to find somewhere to sit where we were not in danger of freezing to death.

   Not sure how the arrogant guy behind the bar even got a job. Order 5 drinks and he had a meltdown with loads of attitude. I'll never be back! And the beer is out of date. Check the photo but it's the 14/06/2024. They need reporting!

   For some reason I thought the Don Valley brewery had gone bump during the disgusting Totalitarian lockdowns so delighted to find them going. (UP YOURS BORIS!) Oddly they have two stalls in the Wool Market. No1 has 3 of their real ales whilst No2 just one ( but proper cider) The modern hall has lots of food and drink options...from obvious pizza to Peruvian. Has a good buzz. Madge had a pint of the Don Valley bitter. Very good.

   April 2021 virus update. Now has more outdoor seating (shared with the other bars/restaurants). Check in with the NHS app or leave your details behind at the entrance. Find a free table. Scan the QR code and a menu comes up on your browser. Order what you want and add your table number. Service was quicker than I was expecting. You can pay cash or card. July 2020 virus update. If you want to drink inside, you need to book ahead. I just turned up, so you have to sit outside. There's a desk at the entrance to register with track and trace. The Don Valley tap is easily visible on the left. My phone couldn't scan it so I had the option to leave my name number and email address at the Don Valley tap. I had a half and said outside.
