   A local cricket club , with 2 teams and a development team, serving its local community . Photos show the 1945 side playing again in the Bassetlaw League after WW2 . Edged by Housing, they should probably move now though . For now they could think about turning the square around .

   Excellent, friendly, well run, good beers. Often features Batemans Cask Ales. Well worth supporting. Committee, Staff and Members make you feel very welcome. Now has a regular cask beer usually Batemans Gold always kept in excellent condition.
