Great hospital, one of the best in Northwest. But to find a car park space is nightmare. You have to keep driving around for 20 to 30mins to find a parking space. We found a space in a car park 10min walk from the Hospital. Not ideal for older or disable people.

My husband has recently spent a week in Wythenshawe hospital's Acute wards followed by visits to F1 SACRU ward. Everyone we met was so caring and helpful. We were very reassured by their friendly expertise. The whole experience was both professional and supportive.

Spending weeks in hospital leading up to major heart surgery was one of the hardest experiences of my life β but every single person I encountered made it more bearable. From the surgeons and nurses to the cleaners, porters, and the wonderful staff who brought meals and drinks each day β every one of you treated me like a person, not just a patient. You remembered faces, preferences, fears, and even how someone takes their tea. That kind of care stays with you forever. Walking into theatre after 15 days in hospital was surreal, yet I felt calm because of the trust I had in the team around me. Waking up in ICU, in pain and vulnerable, I was met with nothing but compassion, patience, and dignity. Recovery has been tough, but never once did I feel alone. This experience has completely changed my outlook on life. Iβve seen love in action every single day within these walls β in small gestures, quiet reassurances, and unwavering dedication. The work you do goes far beyond medicine; it gives people hope when they need it most. Thank you doesnβt feel big enough for what youβve given me β especially just weeks before Christmas. I will carry your kindness with me always.

I can not speak highly enough of this hospital after enduring a few days at Tameside Concentration Camp. The food, care, consistency and speed in which they operate is incredible. This is how all NHS hospitals should be. Thank you to all staff at Wythenshawe hospital, your kindness and care meant a lot to me at a very difficult time in my life. X

We have been attending Wythenshaw for the last few years regularly.Staff have always been friendly . hospital is always clean and tidy . It's a large hospital with multiple entrances for different departments. There is a good range of food options . There are a large number of parking spaces across multiple car parks some closer than others . Parking spaces for blue badges is somewhat limited but if you don't mind waiting for ten mins or so you will usually get a space .My advise get there earlier than your appointment . The hospital is also on a bus route

I attended the hospital on Saturday 4th March, to undergo an operation. From walking in the entrance to being discharged same day I have nothing but praise for everyone I came into contact with, from start to end. Their friendliness and professionalism put me at ease, the op was a great success, and I was offered coffee, biscuits, toast and juice on several occasions. This is a GOOD hospital with fantastic, caring and hardworking staff. Thank you Wythenshawe Hospital!

Daycare and triage for maternity is abysmal. You come in for an appointment which has been pre arranged and donβt even bother getting seen for at least an hour. No social distancing in place, last time I came in I was sat next to another woman waiting who was throwing up next to me. Staff sat in triage area are rude also. Midwives themselves though are lovely caring ladies so I wonβt say anything bad there, but if you are coming in for any appointments just be prepared to pack lunch .. and bring your own chair or something comfy to sit in because you will be there the entire day.. despite it not being particularly busy.

The site is very big so be careful about where you park. They have an A&E and many other specialist wards. There's an M&S, restaurant and WH SMith along with Chapel and prayer rooms. Parking is expensive but the first 20 mins are free. If your loved on is on palliative care and you are staying overnight, parking is free. At the time we were going there, Covid restrictions were in place.

They changed my appointment twice. Final appointment was given for early from the last appointment. Brought forward by 2hrs but clinic was running late for 2hr. Just waste of patients time. Should hospital have stuck with previous appointment time. When i raise a concern nurse have directed me to an examination room where no one there, just let me wait further. Anyway they have seen me 2.5hr later. Don't understand the how they manage the clinics.
